Sony VPL FE40 BUTTON POWER green light , after standby six flashes. help

From the manual:

Press the (ON/STANDBY) switch to turn on the projector. If
the power is not turned on, disconnect the AC power cord, then
confirm the ON/STANDBY lamp is turned off. After about 10
seconds, reconnect the AC power cord and turn on the power
again. If the indicators still light up, the electrical system has a
problem. Consult with qualified Sony personnel.

1,turn on the projector
2, press the following keys on the control panel of projector ( or on the Remote Commander) in the following order for less than five seconds each:enter,enter ,up,down,enter.

Note: enter,enter ,left ,enter, is another way for advance Menu.

Power off the television. Wait a few minutes, then power it back on. If this does not correct the issue leave the power on, point your remote control towards the Sony television and hold the down arrow button. While holding the down arrow button press the "Power" button. Release the down arrow button and the Sony TV will reset itself to factory settings. Once the television performs a scan on itself your problem should be gone.

These blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power LED, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. Count it carefully. If you wish to get some details, check the site linked here. Most probably there is a problem in the power supply and it is going on standby protection mode. You may have to search for a service manual from open websites and look through for the error code indicated by the led blinking, to be very sure. Unfortunately I do not have one with me.

If it blinks with 2 flashes, it's overheated. Check the filter unit.
If it blinks with 4 flashes, a fan is not working properly. see if any fan is not turning on, and check why.
If it blinks with 6 flashes, it's a system internal failure.

Have you tried the remote and the main power on button. Do both not start it up.

A Flashing Red ON/STANDBY LED means one of the following
2 Flashes - The internal temprature is high. Check the air holes are unobstructed.
4 Flashes - The fan is broken
6 Flashes - The internal electrical system has failed.
There is no entry in the manual for 12 red flashes.
