SOURCE: My neck of the guitar

This is very serious as a broken neck means a lot to the guitar. It depends on the section broken and if the fret is also damaged.
Since the neck needs to be quite strong as the strings are tightened and must not in any way bend or be soft-- as the TUNING WILL KEEP ON CHANGING- the neck must be wedged back and then maybe the use of a counter steel reinforcement might be needed.
It is best to get this done professionally , if you intend to get this guitar to retain the quality.

SOURCE: wire diagram samick gregg bennett guitar

Here is the wiring diagram for a 2 humbucker, 2 volume, 2 tone, 3-way switch setup. The wires off the pickup may be a little different. Just attach the lead wire to the arm of the pot and the ground to the ground on the top of the pot. Should be very strait forward.

Serial no from my guitar: S933080850 that's it. if you could help me, I'd very much appreciate it. I'm guessing it's a '93 and after that, it's from Korea, then??? Any info is great. Thank you, Paul

If it's made in Korea, then it's presumably from the Samick-factory as it starts with an 'S' Which is used a lot by Samick as serial prefix. You could have a look at: http://samick.wikia.com/wiki/Serial_Numbers
But as Geoff and Scott already said: brand (and model) would really help.

My Korean Epiphone Les Paul has the serial number S5087373, can anyone tell me the year of manufacture please.? Cheers Colin

Samick Plant Korea, 1985,1995, or 2005, August, Production # 7373. Good question, the serial number only gives you the above information. I hope this helps some. Samick made some good guitars!

What can you tell me about an Indonesian made Epiphone Invader S99010103?

Your guitar was actually made at the Samick Plant, Korea in January, 1999, before Samick moved its production to Indonesia and China.

An Indonesian made serial number should start with 'SI'.

What can you tell me about my epiphone Les Paul number S4100456 ?

Your guitar was made at the Samick Plant, Korea on October, 1984,1994 or 2004,

The confusion is due to Epiphone duplicating serial numbers across different models and years, in that period.

What Year is my Samick Guitar

I believe it to be a 2010 as some of samicks serial numbers start with the last 2 digits of the year it was made as the first 2 digits of the serial number. Hope that helps.

I have a vintage guitar made by Conn with serial number 79-0908, model C74 I need a manufactors date

Getting date information on lesser known instrument brands (Conn horns are one thing, guitars are another) can be difficult. in this case, Conn wouldn't have made the guitar, but would have sourced it from a offshore maker. I suspect it would be made by Samick. Generally, the first two numbers are the year on Samick products, so probably 1979.
