Press the clock button..... Does the time show (at least for a little bit)? If so, then you probably have the Energy Saver function turned on. Here's how to turn that function off (and have your clock display the time all the time): Press and hold the Clock button. Hold it for 15 seconds. Somewhere around 7 to 10 seconds, the clock will display, then go out, then come back on again. By 15 seonds, the clock display should be on, and if you then let go of the clock button, it should stay on.

Which fuse will get the clock hands moving again in my 2005 Infiniti G35?

There will not be a fuse that is isolated only to the clock. If the clock is the only item that is not working the problem with the clock will not be fixed by replacing a fuse. The back light on the clock is working so you are getting power to the clock itself.

(In any event the fuse locations for various functions are covered in your owners manual. If you don't have one then get on to one of the G35 forums and offer to buy one. It's important to have the details of where all the fuses and relays are for various functions.)

No lights,no clock no functions. Power to the unit is good. Any suggestions?

The likely cause for your radio not functioning is a blown fuse on the power supply circuit board. Unless you are able to take the clock apart and solder a new fuse to the board, your best option is to purchase another radio. If this clock radio is a wall plug-in, the fuse may have been blown during a thunder storm.

Subaru Forester, 2003. clock light and dome light not working (clock works, just no light at night). all other dash lights appear to function. i replaced fuse marked 12 in engine fuse panel, described...

The clock works, correct? It is just not illuminating when your headlights are turned on? If this is the case then it is most likely that you have 2 burned out bulbs. The forester clock bulb is Sylvania bulb part #2723

Hope that helps! I have a bunch of clock related info on my website www.autoclockrepair.com. Let me know if I can be of assistance.

Would like to switch off clock light, esp at night, or even permanently

3d848865-4391-4546-8004-9f8c2533f2d0.jpg

Proceed at your own discretion, this will void your warranty. This worked with my Model 3 clock radio:

1)Remove the four corner screws on the back panel with a long phillips screwdriver.

    2) Do not remove the two other screws on the back panel.

3)Gently pull the front panel forward, sliding it out of the wooden case leaving the back panel in place. You can pull of the front panel just free of the case and lay it flat before the connected wires are taught.

4)Unplug the 7 wire harness leading to the back of the clock.

5)Separate the brown wire from between the black and red wires to make room to cut, or modify it.

6)The brown wire is the lead wire to the LED light on the clock. To permanently disable the light, cut the brown wire. Better yet, install a switch in line with the brown wire, which I have not attempted yet and is not covered in this fixya.

Good luck, I have always loved this radio except for the pesky light keeping me up at night.

Caller ID doesnot attear

Sorry it took so long to get back to you with a answer to you problem. You must try to reset the microprocessor in the Clock/Radio. To do this you must unplug the Clock/Radio from the A/C power source. Then remove the Internal battery(CR2430). Let the Clock/Radio set without a power source for about 3 hours. This will discharge the microprocessor and reset it. After you have discharged the microprocessor, you can reinstall the internal battery. Connect the Clock/Radio to the A/C power source. The Clock/Radio's Functions should have returned to normal function. If the Clock/Radio did not return to normal function, you must replace the internal battery and again let the microprocessor discharge. After the microprocessor has discharged, put in the new internal battery and reconnect the Clock/Radio to the A/C power source. The Clock/Radio should have returned to normal function. If you are still having problem with the functions of the Clock/Radio, You will have to call Emerson Customer Support. The telephone number for the Emerson customer support is 1-800-909-1240. you can call them between the hours of 8am-4:30pm CT. Give them the make and model number of the Clock/Radio and ask them for assistance. I hope this information help you with your problems with the Clock/Radio. This AM it started blinking and will not stop It is less than 1 yr.old.

Sorry it took so long to reply to your question. This look like a problem with the Clock/Radio's Microprocessor. You will need to reset the microprocessor by removing all power sources to the microprocessor. This means removing the Clock/Radio from the A/C power source and removing the internal battery (CR2430). After removing all the power sources from the Clock/Radio, let the Clock/Radio set for a period of about 3 hours. This will let the power completely drain from the microprocessor and reset it to the factory settings. You can then reinsert the internal battery and plug the Clock/Radio into the A/C power source. The Clock/Radio should have reset and the functions returned to normal operations. If The Clock/Radio functions have not returned to normal. You will need to let the Clock/Radio's microprocessor drain off the power again and put a new internal battery (CR2430). Then test the Clock/Radio's functions again. The Clock/Radio functions should have returned to normal operation. If you are still having problems getting the Clock/Radio to return to normal operation. You can call the Emerson customer support at this telephone number 1-800-909-1240- Call them between the hours of 8am to 4:30pm central time USA. Give them the make and model number of your Clock/Radio and ask them for their assistance. I hope this information helps you with your problem. Thank you for using FixYa and have a nice day

My clock stopped working on the display

The plug on your range may not be completely inserted into the outlet.
Clear all functions and see if the clock unfreezes
After all this, if the clock digits light up, and you still can't use any clock functions, it may be time for a new control panel.
