How to unmute sound in music player - Nokia E5 Cell Phone

I'v never seen that before.... try calling tech support.

go to control panel and sound settings there is a check box call mute unmark it

check the settings of the player of your.the output must have been muted.so just unmute.if that is not it goto www.mobango.com to download mp3 and mp4 player install it and use it

If it is a later model with the black amplifier there is a red digit 8 lit up on the amp. When the amp is unmuted only the bottom segment is lit. If the top and bottom segment are lit the amp is not being unmuted.

may be ur system volume is muted... or if other music sounds of ur pc are playing... den when u play a video in youtube go to right hand corner of the video where u get the volume control of the video. unmute that... or increase its volume...

open the advanced controls on the audio tray icon or go to control panel - audio and sound devices - choose the advanced audio control option and if any are muted, unmute them and if all are unmuted then click on the menu (top left) go to options/preferences then tick all boxes save then check advanced audio again. If its still muted it may be your driver.

Double click the circle, and UNMUTE

probably need to update the driver for the sound device, if its an add on card fine you should know the manufacturer. if its onboard sound go to the mobo manufacturer

Plug in ONLY the regular wired speakers and ONLY to the green port on the back.

Make sure they are powered up and the volume is about half way.

Ok now you need to call up ether the sound card application or preferably the windows volume control from the bottom toolbar.

Click Open Volume Control.

A box with sliders in should appear. make sure that volume control, wave, sw synth, aux, cd player, line in
are all about half way and that none of them have ticks in the box at the bottom.

If any of those are missing click options then properties from the top left and put a tick besides any that were missing (nothing else)
Now close the slider box.

Put a normal music cd in your cd/dvd player on the computer and set it to play with windows media player.
You should now have sound out of the speakers.

Double check that EVERYTHING is ok.
If there is still no sound check the control panle for any hardware issues and rectify those

what application are you running and what OS?
I'll assume a music/video player on XP using built in speakers

Check the following:

• Control Panel>sound: make sure mute is unchecked and the volume is up the whole way
• click "speaker volume" turn the slider the whole way up>click ok
• click advanced>turn wave (or whatever type) all the way up
• check that volume slider on your player is all the way up and unmuted
• make sure you do not have anything plugged into audio ports such as headphones if you have an HDMI monitor that may also be rerouting your audio. I've had trouble where I need to reboot after hibernation/suspend mode when using HDMI audio so try that.
