My jonstred chain saw has no choke lever

Ian Duncan...

I have no idea if you are bragging or complaining...

I WILL TELL YOU ... I have started many many a chain saw... and the chokes are nearly useless...

FIRST RULE: always use only fresh fuel...!!

Proper sequence for an ice cold saw (optimal adjustment)...
- squish the fuel bulb a couple of times
- set the choke
- couple of yanks until it coughs...
- completely release the choke and the next yank will get you running

If you have NO CHOKE... JUST leave the THROTTLE ALONE
until it coughs... Then start juicing the throttle...

What's a jonstred? Oh... Jonsered

I have a jonsered chain saw with broken Isolator spring the parts # 545006036. Where can I get one and a parts catalogue for this problem [email protected] 3

My suggestion is to find a good lawn and garden shop that repairs chainsaws. Take the saw there and they should have parts. If the shop is a Jonsered dealer your chances are better. I would start with the yellow pages under SAWS.

I lent my saw out and it came back with the fuel lines missing I need to look at a parts manual to see what parts I need I have a Jonsered 2045 turbo

A typical fuel system and a couple of tips:
http://www.fixya.com/support/r3706813-2_cycle_fuel_system_repair

The IPL (exploded parts list) for your saw is the only detail for fuel line routing and it is sketchy at best; components are listed but may be on different illustrations.
IPL courtesy of "gridserver.com" (may not be your saw) You can download an Operators Manual at Jonsered.com but no IPLs.
http://s30387.gridserver.com/partsDiagrams/Jonsered%202041%202045%202050.pdf
Husqvarna is the parent company. I would try a local Husky dealer for parts if JRed dealer close. It often saves shipping cost.
