I lost my receipt what can I do?

Sharon, Green Mountain Keurig, the Massachusetts-based maker of coffee machines known for their single-serving "K-Cup" pods, has announced the recall of its Mini Plus Brewing System, due to a malfunction that can make the brewer spray hot water.

The recall affects 7 million machines sold between December 2009 and December 2014, including 6.6 million in the US and over half a million in Canada.
The company is offering a free repair kit to fix the problem

1. Try to unplug unit for 1 hour. Reconnect power after 1 hour. Wait ~10 minutes.
2. Ensure you have a full reservoir of water.
3. Lift and replace lid for k cup. You should be able to select cup size and start brewing.
4. If still not working, suggest returning. Keurig retailers are very good at doing exchanges now, especially Bed Bath and Beyond (with no receipt).

I had some coffee grounds stuck up in the cone shaped hole that the water comes from at the top. I had to use a very long toothpick but it broke up some of the grounds that happened to get caught up inside. Before doing this, I went through 24 oz of vinager ;) .. the toothpick worked!
