I had the same problem after getting a Keurig model 525C and took it back to Costco, with ants still in the coffee maker. I haven't had this problem with other Keurig coffee makers. Keurig needs to come clean and admit THEY have a problem with at least one of their coffee makers.

This happened to me with a B30. I called and they had me clean everything out thoroughly. at the very end the tech support lady explained the issue is with the kcups themselves. the ones with bulging tops have extra air in them that causes problems when brewing.

these machines arnt meant to be repaired. contact keurig and if it in the company warrenty period they will replace it. otherwise throw it out. we throw away tons.

Circuit broad has protection buil-in and this can be a problem.

I have the answer because it is happening to me now. Moreso with the Timmothy's brand K cups. I did a little forensics on a good brew, and then on two slow with grounds in the final brewed coffee.
The inner filter is placed in the k cup and it is not glued to the top rim. The bag then just sits on the bottom of the k cup as it is passed with the hot pressurized water.
The good cups are glued to the top rim and there is no problem.
To investigate....remove the foil top carefully after the cup cools. Rinse out the grounds, and the filter bag should still be glued to the rim. if you've got a dribbler and one that passes the grounds into the cup...you will find the filter bag had fallen loose from the rim. Manufacturer defect...You bet!!!
I had 8 from a box of Timmothys 25 count pass grounds. Green mountain coffee may once in a while pass grounds, but very rare and maybe three times in the 4,000 k-cups we've used.

my coffe maker quit working right also so i called customer service and they walked me through cleaning out the k-cup poker if that does not solve the problem they will walk you all the things you can try or tell you how to exchange it for a working one because they have a great warranty program so don't do anything without checking the manual and calling customer service . so you don't void the warranty . they are very helpful and nice so i would say that is your best option
