You bend it , literally take hold of the inside arch and bend it with your hands in not out this shortens the , the length and helps it close .

SOURCE: i want to adjust the steel bracelet on my new GMT II

You can do it yourself but proper watchmakers screwdriver is needed.
Check the sides of your bracelet and you will see screw ends with grooves. Unscrew them and adjust your bracelet (take the links out). Then screw them back in.

Adjust the bracelet

There are tiny pins either side of the wrist band next to the clasp. Remove these pins and you can take out up to two links (and a half link on some models.)
A jeweller could do it, needs a special tool to tap them out and put them back

I accidentally stepped on my Tag Heuer TWWK1120.BB0314 bracelet now the clasp doesn't click and lock. Do I need to replace the whole bracelet or just the clasp.

Has it broken, or just been bent out of shape??? If it is just bent you could possibly take it to a TAG repairer or a watch maker to get it adjusted

I bought the self adjustable bracelet watch but do not know how to adjust it to make it tighter on the wrist

Self-adjusting bands usually feature easy to remove links that simply snap out. They usually look just like the main clasp or blend in with the band. Simply locate these links and undo the closures to remove or add them.

Unclear as to how you adjust the rubber band strap

  1. Remove the deployant clasp from the watchband. The clasp is attached using spring bars on each end of the clasp. The method of spring bar removal varies but is usually performed by pushing a small pointed tool (one end of a spring bar tool) into a hole at the end of the clasp. While depressing the spring rod, pull the buckle away from the bracelet to detach. Repeat this for both sides of the buckle.
  2. Step 2 Measure the watchband to determine proper sizing. Use the scissors to cut along the inner grooves to remove needed sections (each section of the rubber will contain a new set of holes for the bracelet spring bars). Cut carefully and conservatively, as this step cannot be undone.
  3. Step 3 Reattach the buckle to the band after resizing. Reverse Step 1, pushing the spring bar in while sliding the buckle back into place.
jQuery('.article ol .image').each(function(i,e){ var $this = jQuery(this); $this.find('img').error(function(){ jQuery(this).remove(); $this.remove(); }); });

How do you adjust the steel watch band of a Citizen Sky Hawk A-T? JY0000-53E

    Making the Band Shorter
  1. Step 1 Stand the bracelet up on its side. Look for arrows on the inside of the bracelet.
  2. Step 2 Insert a small pointed tool from your hobby or watch set into the tiny holes on the edge of the bracelet. Insert the tool in the hole at the base of the arrow. You will see two holes on the edge of the band. Both pins need to be removed.
  3. Step 3 Push the pin out with force in the direction the arrow is pointing. Repeat this process on the second pin. When the pins are removed the link will be loose.
  4. Step 4 Remove the link from its neighbor and replace one pin to secure the bracelet.
  5. Making the Band Longer
  6. Step 1 Remove the link closest to the clasp by putting a small, pointed tool into the tiny hole on the edge of the watch band.
  7. Step 2 Push the pin out so the link is detached from the clasp.
  8. Step 3 Put a new link next to the detached link and line them up so a new pin can go through their holes and attach them together. You may need to snap them together depending on the type of Citizen bracelet you have.
  9. Step 4 Place the pin into the hole on the edge of the band and push the pin through the band with your sharp tool to attach the two links.
  10. Step 5 Repeat this process if you need to attach more than one link.

How to make a relic watch bracelet a little smaller?

No but if this is a mens watch there might be a micro adjustment on the clasp. To adjust press the pin in the clasp and move the pin in or out depending on the position of the pin to make loose or tight.

How to remove link from band

The segments of your bracelet are held together with friction pins which have to be removed first in order to adjust it. This is a relatively complicated task requiring experience and a special tool to remove and return the pins and bushings back correctly without compromising the bracelet strength.
I recommend taking your watch to an Omega authorised dealer for adjustment while you wait.

Check that clasp from both sides and you should see spring lug ends. Use small pin to get them out(by pushing in). When pin is out you can adjust bracelet.

Good luck
