You have to connect the TV to any device; which have HDMI output; using an HDMI cable in between, and to select the input of the TV to HDMI, using its remote control's input selector button.

Which HDMI Dongle is compatible with Sony Bravia KLV-32NX500 to make it a smart TV ? Please suggest.

As the HDMI input of TVs are only meant to accept video signals (to set HDMI specifications), any SMART TV dongle that attaches to the HDMI port is going to output a video signal compatible with the set HDMI specification. A modern TV like yours will be able to accept the digital video signal from any dongle, as it accepts all the common modern formats (1080p, 1080i, 720p, 576p, 576i, 480p, 480i)

How should I connect a Sony Wega KF-50WE620 to an XBox360 ?

Since the TV accepts HD signals only via DVI and component inputs, the only logical way is to use the "Xbox 360 Component HD AV Cable" as show in the link below:

How to hook up your Xbox 360 or Xbox 360 to TV

The TV will not accept a VGA input. A cable converting HDMI to DVI would also require that you break out the L + R audio channels, too. The one I mentioned above does this all for you with no degradation in video signals.

There should a button on the monitor to switch the input. Press it until you see HDMI on your screen.

Video inputs not working

Which video inputs in particular - all of them or only the HDMI for example?

Consider sending the main board to us for inspection and possible repair:

http://www.coppelltvrepair.com/newservice

It's free if there is a problem and we can't fix it, it's $20 if we test the board and it all seems fine and it's going to be around $70 if we find and fix the problem; return shipping will be about $10, i.e. all before mentioned prices will have $10 surcharge for the return shipping.

(of course prices are subject to change in time, so you may want to contact us first to confirm)

Hope this helps!

I do not know how to work the display resolution

The tv display resolution will automatically change depends on your source/device output resolution and TV inputs used as well. Television component and HDMI inputs accept 480i up to 1080p signal while composite and s-video accepts 480i(lowest resolution) signals only. You will get high resolution signals from cablebox, game consoles, bluray etc through their component or HDMI output jacks.
