Hi
Reset the router to factory default IP & password with switch / pin hole on back. Use the factory Router IP address & pw to log in to the router using a Browser (Safari, FireFox, Opera, IE, etc) Change settings to whatever you want.
Note: we don't use WEP any more because it's not secure. Use WAP2.

SOURCE: I can't get the ASCII working for WEP
WEP is ASCII, but it's 10 HEX digits for 64 bit. In the simple example, I use 1011121314 for my key. It keeps the casual user out of the sytsem and I don't have to remember much. Good code for my cul-de-sac.
Usitn the characters A-F, you could actually spell something out that you remember like FACE123456.

Look on the back of the router. Normally it lists the settings how to login to the router and as well once you login go to the wireless section and it will show your wireless key. if it doesnt have any information on it go command line and type ipconfig /all and look at the ip address for gateway and then take the ip and browse it with Internet Explorer.. and try default settings user: admin pass: admin or password

You wireless network must be secured
You will need to check the wireless settings of the router.
Is there any computer online using the router.
check the IP address on that computer.
If yes then you can open the router set up page on that computer.
router set up page is the page where you can check all the router settings.
Click Here for more information about the routers and network
SOURCE: how do i find a
You can use your browser and go at the router's settings page. At the wireless - security tab you will locate the wep key you are looking for. In case you don't know your router's ip address, you can do this simple trick: click on start - run - type cmd and hit enter - at the new black window type ipconfig and hit enter - the line for Default Gateway is the ip the you have to type at the browser's address bar for your router settings.
