SOURCE: trouble with Karcher Pressure washer

Dear Pgarciax,
It is important that you must have mentioned the model number of your Karcher. Just the same I can surely say that your machine's fault lies in the "SPILL VALVE"
When the gun is open and pressure is being produced, the spill valve is in a relaxed position. Also it has at the bottom a valve, which when pressure is produced it is closed. If this does not close due to dirt or corrosion, the pessure goes down. Now when you close the gun, pressure forces the spill valve down to close the electrical system. Now if the "o" rings of the spill valve are damaged, the machine will start going on and off while in stand-by. So if you know how to locate the Spill Valve, all one has to do is change it with a new one.
In some Karcher machines there are 2 spill valves. One regulates pressure and the other one is for switching off the machine when the gun is closed.
Low pressure could also be due to faulty suction or delivery valves. Most probably the suction valves.
But when saying that there are short interruptions while in stand by, I stick to the fact that the spill valve needs renewing.
Regards,
MG.

SOURCE: my karcher pressure washer has lost its water power

I have the same problem. With mine I have to remove the tip that I am using then pull the trigger and then replace the tip and pull and pressure should return. I believe that one of my valves is sticking causing me to reprime the pump frequently. I am trying to clean or replace my valves to fix the problem.

I hope this helps.

SOURCE: My 2200 Gc Karcher pressure washer oil got mixed

If you are talking about the oil in the pump then it should be 10W30 but must be NON DETERGENT. Remember the reservoir should only be 1/3 full

Karcher power washer model G 2000 QT can't keep running unless I shoot starting fluid into the carb has it lost its prime

A clogged carburetor is most commonly caused by leaving fuel in the pressure washer for a long period of time. ... This sticky fuel can clog up the carburetor and cause the engine to run stall. If the carburetor is clogged, try cleaning it with carburetor cleaner.

I have a Karcher G2600vh Honda engine GCV160 N5af which I just purchased a new pump for and installed. The carburetor has been cleaned and have run seafoam thru 2X. Questions...1. It's leaking a little...

For item 5, I would check the Detergent Injector, water should never come out there, Maybe something (dirt) is causing it to malfunction.
see picture here http://www.ereplacementparts.com/spare-parts-kit-p-482334.html. Check the ball, o-ring and spring... leakage like this would be one reason for no pressure, It's like not having a nozzle on. fix the leak at the quick connect as well, check the o-ring and replace of it is hard and brittle or nicked. tighten the connection if it is leaking at the threads, some thread sealer sutiable for 2600PSI maybe.
Engine surging problem 'may' go away once you get a proper load on it...

If this is a new pump contact the supplier, maybe it is defective.

Why does my karcher powerwasher starts and dies after 2 minutes

dirty carb , clean carb, install a fuel cut off valve ( or start using it if you already have one) when you are done washing, turn off the fuel valve and continue spraying water until the engine stops. That will empty the carburetor bowl and the carb will stay clean until you want to use it again.

My karcher pressure washer g 2650 oh wont start

Will it start if you pour a small amount of gas in the carb? If so your carb needs to be removed and cleaned.

Pressure washer with Honda Engine GC160 only run with choke fully closed.

The carb is clogged. It needs to be cleaned, or replace. Keep in mind some of the carb passageways are as small as a human hair so they are difficult to clean which is why I mention replacing. You can try using carb cleaner etc in the gas, but I don't think it will work if you need the choke that much.

Honda GCV160 Engine Won't Start

Hello
You should siphon out all the old gas you can. Replace with new gas. Check that the spark plug is good and the air filter is clean. Spray some carb cleaner in the carburetor.. Also, you should check the oil level and change the oil if it is black. If it tries to start after you spray the carb cleaner in but won't keep going then you know the carburetor needs a good cleaning

I have a problem with my karcher 2500 pressure washer with honda engine it will not start or stay running. I have used starting fluid to start it it starts but won't stay running.

Carb is mostly likely gummed up and should be cleaned. Best option is to dismantle the carb and soak in solvent or equivelant for a couple hours and replace it. Our use Gum Out. Do make sure you have a good spark plug and a strong spark. If you have a fuel filter, then replace it. Check intake filter as well

Karcher 3000 psi won't start.

It sounds more like a carb problem flooding and dumping some gas into the oil. This unit probably has a low oil sensor and the gas could be affecting this. I would have somebody look at the carb and find out why doing this, change the oil and try again. I have one that leaks gas because of float problems, that has done it since new, waiting for spring to remedy. Good luck, Also you can go to Karcher.com for a parts explosion and manual if needed.
