If there is fungi in the lens, you can't remove it without damaging the lens. Even on the outside. Fungi is eating the coating. The coating is correcting light, to make the image sharper, to avoid flairs or to correct aberration. Perhaps it is in some places for other reasons. If you try to remove the fungi, you will remove the coating or at least a part of it, giving extra blur or blurry spots.
Just as a certified Sony repair centre what it will cost to repair the camera. But I think it will be cheaper to replace the camera. New cameras are better and cheaper than ever. Next camera, keep in in a dry place to avoid fungi. Eventually with cilia gel in he same package.

You might have to change the input or start playing blu-ray disc and then change input via the remote to your projector. Make sure it's HDMI out on blu-ray if choice is given and HDMI in on projector.

is the lens focused properly.

is the DOT Phase on the input setting correct.

is there condensation on the lens.

what sort of fuzzy do you see. is it all over the whole screen. is it coloured or only one colour.
is the screen resolution matched to the video source

Your Projector needs a new lamp and do remember to reset the lamp timer after replacing the lamp .

Some generic solutions for WiFi dropping out may include:
1. Use of static IP addresses for the clients (in your case the 2 Sony VPL-CX86s) rather than auto obtain;
2. Disable the WEP/WPA security;
3. Set MAC filter in your router and include MAC addresses of the 2 projectors;
4. Try raising the height/position of the router; and/or
5. use an aftermarket high gain antenna for the router.

As a reminder, WiFi works by line of sight (LOS), anything in between will reduce signal strength/coverage and that include people around/near the projector unknowingly blocking the router.

Try using the XP driver directly.

Isolate problem by using video and data(PC),if none of the imputs work call the vendor or Sony and sent it back for repair.
