Calibration Error I am have a problem calibrating the screen to my new LG Dare. I am able to successfully select the targets on screen for the four corners, but the final point in the center of the screen will not select for calibration. I either receive the sound saying it was not correctly done, or I get an error message that says "Touch accuracy is not within the range." Any suggestions to fix this?

Select the Accessibility button ?
Option (1) Touch Panel Adjustment - Touch the four "+" buttons ? Press Start ? Close

Do the calibration for the scanner.

1. Place letter- or A4-size paper in tray 1, and adjust the side guides.
2. On the control-panel Home screen, scroll to and touch Administration.
3. Touch Troubleshooting.
4. Touch Calibrate Scanner.
5. Touch Calibrate to print the first pass of the calibration target(Print out).
6. Place the first pass of the calibration target face-down in tray 1 so that the arrows are facing into the MFP.
7. Touch Start to print the second pass.
8. Place the calibration target face-up into the ADF, and adjust the side guides.
9. After the calibration target has passed through the ADF once, reposition it face down in the ADF and touch Start.
10. Place the calibration target face-down on the scanner glass, touch Start, and scan the page.
After this pass, the calibration is complete.
Calibration will fails if print quality is not good...ensure that print quality must be in order..
Once calibration successfully done, restart printer several times & verify start button light, if its green every time 'u' re success. if not cleaning required for CCD which is major work & not suggestable..

To Calibrate the touch screen:

1 - In Menu mode, select Settings ? Phone settings ?Calibration.
2 - Tap the target on the screen until the calibration is finished.
3 - Select Yes.

the screen needs calibration. below are the instruction on how to calibrate the screen. The Digitizer Preferences screen opens the digitizer calibration screen. This is the same screen that appears when you start your handheld for the first time. You can recalibrate your screen after a hard reset or if your digitizer drifts. You may need to repeat this process a few times until the calibration registers. To calibrate your handheld screen: 1. From the General Preferences list, select Digitizer. 2. Tap the targets as indicated on the screen as precisely as possible.
TIP You can also press Left, Right, Up, and Down on the navigator to highlight a Preferences screen name and then press Select on the navigator to open that Preferences screen.

Go to the main menu, settings and tools; touch settings : and then select calibration and touch the six targets to calibrate touch accuracy

I just got one of these for my 4 yo daughter and had the same problem after 2 days. GOOD NEWS IS IT IS FIXED. The problem was crumbs stuck between the edges of the screen and the frame piece around the edge of the screen. I assume this was creatintg pressure in 2 places at once, confusing the screen/software and not showing a target on the calibration screen.

I used a toothpick to remove the visible crumbs, but if you have a can of compressed air used for computer cleaning, than that might be even a better idea. have a china made handheld double sim touch-screen phone. The device is Winkoy T6688. The touch screen got damaged and after reseting the device, the following notice appears after turning it on:

"Calibration wizard. You have to calibrate the touch-screen. Click anywhwere on the screen with your stylus to start calibration".

Of course you can´t but there´s no other option because it won´t accept any other input until it´s calibrated apparently. Does anyone know how to bypass this calibration wizard on start up?

Check for protective film/screen debris build-up around edges.

Check for loose cabling plugs into the back of the Screen
Unscrew the four little fascia screws & lift panel out.

I had same problem after unable to enter password.
Did Hard reset, encountered the stylus calibration cycling error.
One of my screen cables had come adrift slightly at one corner.

ı have problems about wıth my touch screen. ıt does not works sometımes.
ı have to restart my phone to make ıt work . can ı do somethıng more?
