Why am I getting this error message that won't let me access my facebook page:www.facebook.com uses an invalid security certificate. The certificate is not trusted because no issuer chain was provided. (Error code: sec_error_unknown_issuer) I don't know what I did wrong for the error to suddenly appear?

Certificate error

A "certificate-error" occurs when you access a "secure-HTTP" site (one that uses the 'https://' prefix for the URL) and the "certificate" that the site is "secure" (namely that the site really is the site that it claims to be) is invalid. Certificates have a "start-date" and an "end-date" and certificates can be "revoked". If the certificate is for a different web-site ('web.site.com' versus 'www.site.com') or is revoked, or if the current date is not between the "start" and "end" date, you get the "certificate error" message.

What site did you try to access?

Internet explorer blocked website from displaying content with securiy cartificate errors

it means internet explorer does not trust the website because the security certificate is not recognized by IE. you can right click the content blocked and click the allow option on the drop down menu.

You need to run an anti-virus program. this is most commonly someone trying to get your password for face book using a Trojan of some sorts. looks like you been browser hijacked. AVG is the best free anti-virus software in my opinion. if you get any error trying to download it it is most certainly a virus. as most virus's prevent you from downloading software that will remove it.
