You need to check the drain lines to make sure that they are clear. Don't forget to check the discharge line that it is clear as well. Some units have a filter as well that may need to be cleaned.

Neptune 5500bww washer isnt draining brand new drain pump pump does not have power at all

Bryan, I remember there being a problem with the neutral on these machines. The connection at the water valve with the terminal and more than on wire connected together. The neutral on this machine is one big harness and with the neutral interrupted you would have no power to the pump. The power from the pump comes directly from the timer through the pressure switch. on the timer check the blue and gray for power. You can do this right at the pressure switch instead of fumbling in the large mess of wires on the timer. Still check those terminal on the water valves it would be the white wires with the bad terminal connections. Good luck. Feel free to contact me, I am willing to help.

Drain pump isn't working properly or mystery clog

I would replace the drain pump if you are sure there are no obstructions to the water flow.

Yes and no. The neptunes have always had a bad problem with that. As long as the clothes aren't soaking wet after the spin cycle you should be fine.

Will not spin, clothes are soaking wet.

Are you sure washer is level? I solved our problem that simple and I had worked on solving it for weeks until I double checked the level and found it a little off. Now it works wonderfully.

Maytag washer MAH 5500bww seems to run OK, but it does not pump out all the water(pumps out some) at the end of the cycles, churns remaining water during spin

Open the rear panel and remove the drain pump and clean it.
If there is nothing in the pump, check the drain motor for 18 ohms with a volt/ohm meter.
Not 18 ohms, replace the motor.

Washing machine wont drain removed drain house at pump and water flowed out of pump and hose isnt blocked

sometimes the internal shaft for the pump motor will either break or loosen, the pump seems to be fine until you take it apart and see the insids. you probably need a new pump like i did.

Admiral Washer AAV7000AWW everything works -goes through cyclebut will not drain

You,ve done a good job the first time the pump fail MikieM. You can do it again. We sometimes forget to empty our pocket. Some small metal things could have gotten into the pump...could be other hard foreign object. Good luck.
