Computer burnt and can't find the cd(?) I used to install the software

Easy solution: Throw it away, and buy a Panasonic. Or any other voice recorder besides Sony!!!

• I got this recorder for college. i read up on it to make sure that it works for vista home. It said it did so i opened it, know i couldn't return it if i opened it because i got it from the college book store.So it didn't work so i was very upset so i called sony to see what the problem was so the told me that all their products only work with a 32 bit operating system from vista and i have a 64 bit operating system there for it wont work for my computer and i cant return it and i cant get a refund so now im stuck with this junk i cant use. anyway to check if you have a 32bit or 64 bit operating system go to you start bar and right click on the computer button on the right click properties it should tell you there what you have if it said 32 bit i would call sony and have it repaired if you have a 64 bit take it back to the store you got it from it wont work

I bought a Sony ICD-P620 yesterday from Circuit City. I had problems installing the CD so I went to Sony web site: http://esupport.sony.com/US/perl/swu-list.pl?mdl=ICD-P530F&region_id=1 and installed CD for ICD-P530F and it works.
