Sure- hopefully you have a bit of room to move your appliance a bit. lay down on the floor, if able. use a flashlight. you should see 4 nylon or metal feet that the washer sits on. they'll have threaded bolts that lead into the bottom 4 corners of the washer. don't know how old your machine is, but if things look rusty, a little wd40 sprayed on them will help!
have someone help you lift the end of the washer opposite the way the axis of the drum is tilted. jiggle the drum a little and observe whether it becomes more centered. if you can, stick a piece of 2x4 , or 2x2 under that edge and turn the pads in a 'lefty-loosey' direction. this will raise one edge. take out the wood or spacer, and check the centering. you may need to mess with all 4 'feet', to get it right.
make sure your floor/platform the washer is on is solid!! if it's rotting out, check that your water connections are not leaking, and your drain hose is properly seated! good luck.

Sounds like your "bias spring" has broken or fell off. This is located at about the 7:00 position under the top and attaches the tub to the drum supports and keeps the tub aligned. It is possible that you have a bad tub support as well, but less likely.

Samsung washer keeps rinsing and draining and back through same cycle

Hi.
This sounds like the load is out of balance, and the machine is refilling to re-distribute the load. It senses the load during the beginning of the spin cycle.
It could be that the load is too small or that the garments have different density and water (weight) retention.
It could also be that the springs on the rods which support the bowl have sagged and have allowed the bowl to hit the out of balance switch. It could even be that the machine is rocking because the feet are not adjusted evenly..
I hope this helps you work out the problem.
Good luck.

Drum is loose during Spin and Rinse cycle and banging against side of washer

If it is under warranty, call Whirlpool at 1-866-698-2538. If it is out of warranty, try running the washer with no clothes in it in spin cycle. If it runs fine empty, it may be that when you had clothes in it they were not balanced evenly in the tub. If it runs off balance when empty, then a spring may have broken or come off. Contact an appliance repairman.

My fisher and paykel eco washer spins weirdly and makes lots of noises

Noisy
If the user is complaining about noise, it may be in a number of different areas. Is the noise during
spin? Is it a banging sound? This would typically be the drain hose, inlet hoses, mains lead or
harness. If it is an out of balance noise, check that the machine is level and stable. Check the
bias spring and balance rings. Remove the inner bowl and check that its weight is within
specification (Refer Section 1.12).
If it is a 'clunk' that occurs up to 3 times per cycle, this would be a bowl check and is completely
normal. It occurs when SmartDrive is draining and 3/4 empty. This is a 'feature' and a noise that
cannot be reduced.
Other things to check are:
• Is SmartDrive level and on all four feet equally.
• Check the mains lead, inlet hoses and drain hose outside the wrapper, behind SmartDrive.
• Check the harness and drain hose inside is not banging on the wrapper during spin.
• Check the bias spring is fitted correctly.
• Check the 2 balance rings in the inner bowl contain water. Check the bowl weight.
• Check for noisy suspension rods.

Machine gets off balance during spin cycles. Very noisy, jiggles and rattles around a lot. I have taken advice posted earlier and opened the cabinet to look at the balancing mechanism. Nothing looks...

  • Open the lid
  • Roll the bowl by holding on to the agitator.
  • It should feel even and return to the center on its own when you release it from you grip.
  • make sure the wash action is correct...that is the agitator works as it should
  • If it does not it could be putting the c; clothes to one side in a ball.
  • If this is the case then there is a transmission fault unable to be fixed by you.
  • If everything is normal spin the machine empty
  • If it spins ok empty then add four the same size towels and rinse them so they are heavy wet
  • They should be formed evenly around the bowl.
  • If there is a problem now the suspension in the machine is faulty and requiter professional service
  • Good luck....tony

Washing machine off balance in one cycle

Make sure washer is on a level surface and all four feet adjusted properly. A slight forward lean may help with this problem as the out of balance switch is at the rear.
