Hi, this is common for a Lexmark. They won't recognize a cartridge that has been remanufactured or refilled. All you can do is ignore the warning and go ahead and print your job. Use the cartridge until you notice a deterioration in print quality, then replace it. If this helps you, then please rate the answer. Thanks! Hal

Je ne troune pas une bonne impression apres avoir remplir mon catouche d'encre

Note that Lexmark does not recommend using or refilled cartridges. Refilled cartridges tend to degrade print quality and cartridge performance. It is best to use only genuine Lexmark cartridges for your Lexmark printer.
You can try to reseat your cartridges into the printer. However, if problem continues, please replace your refilled cartridges with new genuine ones.

My lexmark x2250 printer gives me error message no cartridges in machine, even though there are new ones in the machines. What can I do?

I have to ask this question of you, just to make sure this is not an issue. Are you using a factory new ink or toner cartridge?
Please consider the following:
If you are using a refilled (the absolute worst possible choice) or third party cartridges (2nd. Worst possible choice) that may well be your problem. Most manufacturers build logic into their products to prevent the use of “Other Equipment Manufactured” cartridges as well as re-filled cartridges.
They do this to prevent problems from contaminated inks or toner causing problems with print quality or damaging the physical printhead or photo conductors.
If you are using factory new ink or toner cartridges, then please call the manufacturer’s Technical Support for assistance with the warranty on the cartridges

Empty ink

Hi,

According to your problem it seems your cartridge has been damaged or choked so change your cartridge. Because some times when we use refilled cartridge, Ink goes dry and printer's sensor can not sense the ink.

Change Cartridge Invalid Cartridge

First, Lexmark does not now or ever support the use of a third party cartridge or a refilled cartridge ink cartridge even if it is a Lexmark cartridge. Lexmark considers this to product tampering.

That said, please get a new Lexmark cartridge that is designed for your model of printer and see if it works. If you still get the failure, use a lint free slightly dampend cloth to wipe the contacts where the new cartridge goes. If that does not work, call Lexmark Technical support and see if there is still any warranty left on the printer.

Worst comes to worst, you can just replace the printer given the cost of ink jet printers nowadays.

Refilled cartridge, still says it needs to be replaced...

If you let the cartridge run totally dry then they need to be reset or replaced, I have tried purchasing reset software myself and found then to be a waist of money as they do not reset the cartridge at all. Do yourself a favor and replace the cartridge and remember to top up the cartridges before they get half empty.

Lexmark x1200 all in one

Lexmark printers do not support refilled cartridges. When you wipe the bottom of the cartridge with a paper towel does anything come out of the bottom. If the answer is yes then I would say that the contacts on the cartridge are damaged thus causing it to not work.

I would recommend replacing the refilled cartridge with a genuine Lexmark cartridge.

Thanks

Lexmark x1270 not printing in color

Is the cartridge a Lexmark cartridge or a refilled cartridge?

Remove the cartridge from the printer, take a damp paper towell and wipe the cartridge in one direction on the bottom. Is Ink coming out? If yes then put the cartridge back in the printer and try to print again. If the answer is no and the cartridge is brand new you need to return it to you point of sale and get a new one as its a bad cartridge.

If the cartridge is a refilled cartridge that is probably the problem. Lexmark printers do not support refilled cartridges.

Thanks

Refilled cartidges

i believe u need to do printing alignment after putting a refilled cartridge, so it would detect that there is a new cartridge installed.

see link for changing cartridge
