The machine will not finish its program and keeps washing

Washers are computer and they must finish the program you last started. So with that being said the washer is trying to finish the cycle you start before it can move on. If it keeps draining there must be a clog in the pump. The water may be below the inner clothes basket so you can't see it. The washer knows it is not all drained out so it keeps trying. A model number would be helpful.

This is just a setting error. For troubleshooting of this error, just enter in diagnostic mode. Keep pressing Program button and then also press Water Level button. Now release both buttons. Now machine will auto run for wash-rinse-spin. After it finishes, Keep program on Normal, Keep water level low and now Start the machine. It will now work normally as before.

I have exactly the same problem on my machine. Did you ever get the fault resolved?? I'm tempted to just buy a new machine although when my 2 1/2 year is working she is great?? I'm fed up muttering under my breath at it - any advise please. Juli

sounds like you have a bad timer or lid switch. does it finish a cycle but not advance or does it just keep washing or does it wash then stop and get stuck? if it just keeps doing one cycle like wash wash wash you would have a bad timer. if it washes then stops and gets stuck you have a bad lid switch. But then again if you had a bad lid switch it would never spin. What is the brand name of this washer?

Try hitting the Skip/Reset button a few times, then put in a new program and try it. You might have a problem with the program already set up. If that does not help, then there might be a problem with the motor overload protector which on some machines causes the program to rapid advance if it fails.

it is telling you, your machine has a problem you need to tell me what program are you putting it on. if you put it on a spin only and it keep going round What you need to do is turn the machine of and open the door leave the door open and put the machine back on set the program to the spin only and then shut the door press start do touch the machine till its finished that should help Its called a reset. if you have the same problem get back to me and i will help you ok.
