Hold in the PTT button while turning on the radio. First it will announce the frequency, then press the monitor button once, then it will announce the code, press the monitor button one time again, then if it is equipped with a language choice, you will get to select your language by using the PTT button to walk through the choices, lock in your choice by pressing the monitor button one time. Shut the radio off, then back on without holding in any buttons... you are ready to use the radio.

I have a motorola mv11c and it works fine and I just purchased a pair of motorola mv21cv. They must be on a different frequency my question is how do I change the frequence on my mv21cv radios to be...

Hold in the PTT button while you turn on the radio. It will announce the frequency number. You can use the PTT button to change the number. Then press the Monitor (small possibly red) button to lock in your setting. The next number your radio announces will be the Code. Use the same method to change the code if needed. Then press the Monitor button to lock in your setting. Once you have set both your freq and code you can turn the radio off, then turn back on normally and use the radios.

How do i put my new cls1110 on prog 1 frequency 4

The CLS1110 is a one channel radio. However the one channel can be changed to another frequency and/or PL code. With the radio turned OFF, hold in the PTT and the MON, while turning the radio on. Continue to hold the PTT and MON until the radio stops making noise. You are then in programming mode and can use the menu button to walk through the stages of programming. Use the PTT to change the settings, and the MENU to lock it in.

One radio will receive messages but will not send a message

It is possible you have your PL code set differently between the two radios.

Instructions: Hold the PTT in while turning the radio on, listen for the code to be announced, use the PTT if needed to change the setting, then press the monitor button to lock in the setting. It will then announce whether it is 12.5 or 25k channel spacing. Use the PTT to change the setting if needed. Then press the monitor again to lock it in.

How to change freguency on motorola

1) Put your radio in programming mode by turning on the radio while holding down the PTT and MON buttons. Continue to hold these buttons until the 'noise' stops.

2) Press the MENU button once. Now, using the + or - buttons choose the frequency number.

3) Press the MENU button to lock in your frequency. This will take you to your CODE. Press the + or - button to choose your CODE.

4) Press your MENU button to lock in your CODE.

5) At this point you can walk through the rest of programming features or simply shut the radio off and begin using it. Note: You will know when you are at the end of the programmable features because it will chirp a different beep than you have been hearing when you've pressed the MENU button to lock in your new setting.

Motorola XTNi off frequency

There are several ways:
1) Customer Programming Software (CPS)*
Allows users to perform various programming
functions. Plus, the CPS software provides access
to new features such as Radio Reporting to
manage cloning and radio profiles, Manager Lock,
Power Select, and Time-Out Timers.
* CPS is available as an optional accessory, including required USB cable.
2) Easy Cloning
Quickly copy settings from radio to radio with
either the Radio-to-Radio Cloning Cable or the
Multi-Unit Charger accessories. (Both sold
separately.)

You should be able to purchase any of this software/equipment from your retailer where you purchased the radio.

Looks like you have it in the locked position. We need to unlock it and set the pl codes and channel number the same as the other one.
Locking the Keypad
