I have a brand new Viking french door oven...Went to set it at 450 on bake setting and got an F02 error code. How do I fix this?

Fault F02 is indicating an overheat fault- service manual says to replace main electronic control board.
Sometimes switching off at wall will clear the fault.
However, switching off at wall will reset the clock- you need to set the time before the oven will work-press middle button until small triangle is next to clock icon, set time using temperature dial. Once clock has ben set, try using oven to see if F02 fault reappears. Good luck!!

F- code 02

How to fix a Whirlpool Duet & Duet sport error code F02. Repairing your F02 error code can usually be done without ordering parts. Tools needed to repair your Duet F02 error code are towels and a quarter inch socket.

Tip the washer back at a 45 degree angle. On the bottom panel there are three or four screws, with the screws removed the panel will slide down and off. With the lower access panel now removed you will have access to the washers drain pump clean out.

With the water already bailed from the washer you can twist the filter head counter-clockwise to remove. Twisting the filter head counter-clockwise will loosen filter so it can be pulled out. With the filter out, clean and install back into washer.

Run a quick cycle to ensure the washer is back up and running and the F02 error has disappeared. If the error comes back it may require you to clean the drain pump filter again.

This control is usually mounted behind the front panel, sometimes at the back or to the side, it also has a speed control board that is mounted on the bottom usually at the right side.
Whenever a problem accur there is a fault code displayed on the machine, there is a technician sheet with the fault codes on the machine, the technician can use this guide to go directly to the problem,
This f02 code mean there is a problem with the drain, there is a drain filter that sometimes get clogged with lint and other things,
Removing the kick plate and removing the drain access on the pump will reveal the drain filter, use a small bucket, and towels to catch the water that will be in the pump

Maytag washer throwing fault code 21

An "F21" or "F02" error code is indicative of a slow draining cycle, normally caused by a clogged or kinked drain hose. If an "F21" or "F02" error code appears, check the drain hose on the back of your washer to ensure that it is not clogged or bent. Once the drain hose has been unblocked, the error code should disappear and the machine drain properly. However, if you have a high efficiency washing machine and the error code continues to appear, make sure you are using the correct detergent; because high efficiency machines use much less water than traditional washing machines, they require the use of a low sudsing detergent. Traditional detergents may produce too many suds, which can block the machine's drain hose and lead to slower draining cycles.

Showing f02

Error Code F02 = Motor jammed or tachogenerator detached

Check the motor hasn't jammed up somehow, or that the small tacho coil on the end of the motor hasn't dropped off (tip the machine back and it's in between the brushes - it should be held in place with a clip. If it's hanging loose it's the fault)

This fault code basically means the PCB cannot detect any impulses from the tacho coil on the motor, so the main implication is that the motor is just not running. However, because other fault codes cover most of the other motor faults, the PCB thinks the motor may be physically jammed. That is, as far as the PCB is concerned, it is supplying the motor with power, but it can't detect the motor is running. This fault is not caused by worn carbon brushes because on these washing machines, an open circuit on the motor causes the washing machine to do nothing at all. It would not fill, or empty (as well as the motor wouldn't run) although the indicator lights would work. These washing machines do not produce an error code for open circuits in the motor.

Hope this helps (remember to rate and comment this answer)
