There is a lot of black dusty debris coming out of it when i use it.

burn oil bad rings or bad valve guides. if it using a lot of oil. or it can be the intake valves stem seals asn oil is mixing with th fuel. same on exhaust stem seals but its uses more dusty black as its not being burnt just pushed into the exhaust. these all can give black smoke. you can tell alot more from what colour your spark plugs are. and a compression test will identify if its a gasket or the rings or valves. do dry test then do a wet test with 3 drops of oil. and if the compression has gone up more than 1 psi you have a problem. also check the oil filler if you pump air into the piston and you can hear it a lot coming out of the oil filler its the rings gone. if you hear it out of the air intake its the intake valve side and if out the exhaust its the exhaust valves. all these is best to be done before you decide to take the engine apart to look for the problem as this will identify the problem., ecotec engine can also be the hydraulic valves blocked so if this engine is installed check them as leaves valves open to long. and can be loud tapping and also a ting sound. usually means they are blocked and oil change is also need. as they are feed from the engine oil.

I think your projector lamp and LCD area is dusty.
please use pressurized air can and clean the area.also check the dust filter.
do it carefully.

test all leads from motherboard that connect to hard drive make sure they have secure connections and are no faulty or dusty alo make sure you ram modules are securely seated with no dust in the sockets and same with your graphics card

This model does not use a "bulb", it has three picture tubes.

What does happen is the lens for each can get dusty; picture will gradually get dimmer and dull looking.

With set unplugged, remove rear cover (it can be done from front but back is safer for a do it yourself person..



With the rear cover removed look for the 3 large black lens pointing up in the middle of the set--simply clean them with a lens cloth or a paper towel with glass cleaner sprayed on it---this should usually be done once a year.

If they have not been cleaned recently or you are in a dusty environment, cleaning them should improve the picture a lot.

Could be a number of reasons - where is the black dust coming from? remove the motor hood and check for misalignment of the drive belt from motor to the front roller.

What I understand the paper tray is installed correctly.
Some machines have push sensors inside the at the end of the tray. Look inside the area where the tray goes in with a flashlight. Everything is mostly black so it is hard to see.
Look for actuators that need to be pressed. Locate the tray end area to see if there is a plunger that pushes in the switch actuator. Sometimes the plunger is missing on the tray, or the slide selector on the tray is not positioned correctly. I cannot see this tray so look for these common areas.
Sometimes you can gently move actuators up and down, and phsyicaly see if they fell out of postion or just completely broken.
Also, paper dust is common in these areas. If the sensor is dusty, the sensors will tell the machine there is a jam, if you can clean the sensors from debris even excessive tonor or developer that falls in these places a lot.

check to make sure the top of your fuel tank is clear of mud or debris. Also check around your evap system which is right above the back axle of your pickup which is black plastic container. If you are dusty roads a lot this can become plugged off. There is a update at the dealerships for re-routing the vapor canisters on these pickups.

you can try to smack the motor to see if it comes on (old trick)
its where the passanger feet go smack the large black box on the bottom. if it comes alive you need a motor. and by the sound of the clacking, also sounds like a blower motor. be advised that you can **** things off the pass floorboard when in recirc mode. i have removed lots of debris from blower motors. :)

you can remove it and not replace it but it would allow dust and debris to flow thru into the cabin of the vehicle. if it is blocked then that means it has removed a lot of dust and you should just replace it or the inside of your vehicle may become very dusty.

sounds like the evaporator drain is clogged and probably has debris inside from fresh air vent flap. clean out exterior vents of any debris. next find the drain for the a/c/heater box either under the dash or under the truck.make sure that is clear of any debris.oh, your looking for a small black rubber hose at bottom most point of heater/a/c box(probably on passenger side).you can remove this hose without too much trouble.if water starts coming out, more than likely you found PART of the problem(PS you may want to have some rags or small bucket ready just in case). the problem may not repeat itself at all but if you have a lot of debris in there, it will probably clog that drain again.if you really want to get into it you could drop the whole box out, but you'll need some a/c equipment and some antifreeze.I think cleaning those vents and the drain will probably get you straight for a while though.hope this helps.Chris
