Can i get a new mains charger for my 8i0i?

Please try it My Dear Brother:

First Option:
mostly nokia chargers doesn't make problems...
just try the following..
connect ur mobile with a system (usb cable)...
found out whether it is charging or not...
if the same prblm appears then there is a prblm in ur cell phone or power jack(socket)...
if it charged with usb cable buy a new charger
Please change Phone Bettery and check the charging
IF Charging Problem not Solved So

Second Option:
Your Phone charging IC Fault So Please change charging IC
And charging Problem will Solved Quickly

connect ur phone by data cable to the computer usb connector and select data storage.it will charge ur phone.

Many cell phones will not charge through a PC because of cable configuration, voltage issues or lack of software. Cable configuration and voltage is usually the bigger issue.

Ask you cell provider what you can do with your model of phone to charge it from a computer. You may need a special USB cable that matches the proper connectors for you phone.

Will it charge thru my pc?

Yes you can charge your satnav through your pc using the mini USB lead. It will take approx 8 hours to charge fully compared to 4 hours using a car charger or a mains charger.

Hi guest, you cannot charge the laptop thru usb, it will be solely on the AC adaptor port. USB's are functioned for multi-media devices such as cameras, MP3 players, etc..

My camera is not charging

I got this camera from my friend's daughter. She told me she only used it a few times and won't charge. At first, I tried to charge it thru the USB port, got a brief green light then 3 red blinks just like others. So, I tried to charge it thru a powered USB hub and it charges. Once it fully charged, I took some pictures and tried to charge it again thru a regular USB (not the powered USB hub I used earlier) and it is charging right now. This is also true for a certain cell phones. If you let the battery drained its power completely all the way, you must charge it with a high current charger to wake up the battery before you can charge thru USB port.

Nokia N80 "phone lock code"

Hi have you tried 0000 thats usually the code that is stored when phone is new failing that you will need to get a flash lead and nokia softtware that scans the phone and gives you all the codes allowing you to change them but this is expensive to buy.
I have alot of nokia software but not sure if it works through usb lead as i use from computer then into black box then into phone as i have this as it works on all makes an model of phone if it can be done through the usb lead i can tell you where you can get this software from ok just give us a shout back

Install the usb drivers so your phone will be detected and it will automatically charge on the usb.
Get the driver here for the usb.

To my knowledge the N95 does not charge through its USB port.

What you can do if you want to use the computer's USB port for charging your N95 is to purchase a converter with the proper Nokia charging tip at the other end. It could be a solution to top off the cell battery while on the go, these converters are small and easy to carry.
