If you recently dialed 4-0 or 4-1, those are Do Not Disturb and Call Forward codes. if this is what happened, then dial the cancel code for both, which is 4-2. This is with internal dial tone, don't grab an outside to do this. You could have someone dial your extension to test if the ringer is faulty. if their call comes in as voice announce, have them add a 1 to their dial sequence and their call should switch to audible ring, and you will know it's not a ringer issue. Adding a 1 can be done continuously if you want to switch back and forth.

Setting the ring tone and ringer volume You can choose one of the four different ring tones and set the ringer volume. To set the ring tone and volume: 1. Make sure that the ringer is turned ON. 2. Press the Set Options key. 3. Press the down arrow three times or press [3] to go directly to the item. 4. Press [3] and follow the instructions on the display. When picking the ring tone, press the volume bar to adjust the volume. 5. Press [Save] to end when you are satisfied with the ring tone and ringer volume.
Some how your phone was reset or had the tone turned off. Just follow the below guide and your audio should come back on. I would do a soft reset (turn off the handset, remove the battery then reinsert) before performing the instructions.
Tone settings To select a ringing tone for voice calls, select Tones > Ringing tone. To select a ringing tone for video calls, select Tones > Video call tone. To set the ringing type, select Tones > Ringing type. You can also set the device to sound a ringing tone that is a combination of the spoken name of the caller and the selected ringing tone, when someone from your contacts list calls you. Select Tones > Say caller's name. To set the volume level of the ringing tone, select Tones > Ringing volume. To set the various alert tones, select Tones > Message alert tone, E-mail alert tone, Calendar alarm tone, or Clock alarm tone. To set the device to vibrate when you receive a call, select Tones > Vibrating alert. To set the volume level of the device keypad tones, select Tones > Keypad tones.

Aslim, go to your profiles, select silent, before you select *activate*, select *personalise* in the ringing tone panel, select *no tone*, in the ringing volume panel, reduce the volume to nothing. In the message volume panel, reduce the volume to nothing also. Then select *save*. Then you can activate silent. This should help.

The speaker volume is the level of everything else, such as the dial tones, fax tones, and button press beeps. The default setting is Soft. 1 Press Setup. 2 Press 4, and then press 8. This displays the Basic Fax Setup menu and then selects Ring and Beep Volume. 3 Press to select one of the options: Soft, Loud, or Off. Note If you select Off, you will not hear a dial tone, fax tones, or incoming ring tones. 4 Press OK.
