The most likely fault is that your language setting in your operating system is incorrect or corrupted. I suggest you go into the keyboard language settings and ensure you are set to the correct country as the layout varies between them.

SOURCE: my laptop keyboard is typing different letters and numbers

It sounds like your keyboard is starting to go. Try plugging a usb keyboard and using that. If your keyboard needs replacing, it may be around $50, but that will depend.

You have activated the blue keys on your keyboard. To deactivate them press FN + Num Lock and you will be able to type the letters.

Instead of the letter ''O'' I get the number 6 on my keyboard.

When the RH side of the keboard types numbers instead of letters then the Num Lock (number lock) key has been pressed.
Press the Num Lock Key again to return to letters again, usually this is usually done by pressing the Fn key plus and probably the Scroll keys, this key will be also marked NumLk, and there will be a LED light that will indicate when the number lock is on.

Hi,
Your number lock is on, look on the top right of the keyboard for a key marked "Num Lock" (can sometimes be coloured blue), hit that key once and your keyboard will return to normal.
