Leave it on charge for at least four hours.
See if it works.
If it has charged from that port on your computer before the port should be ok.
You could try a different port if you have one.
If no luck, try a different charging cable or charger if you have one.

If it is only a month old, it may be under warranty.

try reseting it. hold down the power button for15-20 seconds and release

My sasa froze will not turn off

Take the battery out, then put it back in again. It should be OK when it reboots.

Connecting to an Apple/Macintosh is a risky proposition - this Sansa was not designed for MAC compatibility. It might work, it might not - but generally it won't. The iPod is worth the extra money if you are a Mac user.
