My Memory Craft 7000 sometimes does the same thing, if it's very cold. Try warming it up by placing it near a heat source, a vent or a floor heater, for a few minutes. Then it works perfectly.
I've used these machines for over 20 years now, and they're my favorite!
If this doesn't solve your problem, you need to take it in for servicing.
They are work horses, but they do need their maintenance from time to time.
I hope this helps you.

On most sewing machines the light bulb is located inside the faceplate on the left hand side of your machine.

The faceplate is part number 17 in this manual.
One that has been removed, the bulb should be visible. You will need to look at the old bulb to see if it a screw type or a bayonet type, in order to replace it with a new one.
If this is not correct try the Janome website for advice, they have a forum and an ask Jan section for problems etc.

I've had the Lo come on my screen of my sewing machine also, but normally when I turned it off it corrected the jam up.
Lo- A button is pressed when the machine halts due to a overload
wait 15 seconds to recover
if thread jamming causes the overload, remove the tangled thread
check the bobbin area for lint & loose threads
also check to see if the bobbin is warped
check you needle to see if it's bent-roll on a flat surface to see if it rolls correctly
if it's blunt it makes a popping sound when going thru fabric
let me know if these suggestions help

There could be 2 reasons for this problem.
1. Your machine is old and due that some machine programs are not functioning properly.
2. You are not using right foot for those certain stitches.
The solution for the first problem is to replace the memory chip of the machine. But you cannot do it yourself. You have to take help of the service centre.
For the second problem you can get right foot and your problem will be solved.
