You may need to replace the coil pack or just the insulation boot. The Boots are $8.50 each at IPD.

HOW TO REPLACE 2003 YUKON GMC SPARK PLUGS

Remove the wire from the top of the spark plug by twisting and pulling on the boot part. Then you will need a 14 milimeter plug scocket wrench, turn the wrench counter-clockwise to remove. You install them by doing the steps in reverse. A note of caution: the tightening force is 15 foot pounds of torque whitch isn't a lot of force.
The original spark pulgs are good for at least 100,000 miles unless it's had a problem to cause them to fail. Also installing a different type plug then original equipment has lead to poor performance at times.

2004 volvo xc90 rough idle at stop .... has 129k miles..just replaced all spark plugs with platnium.

If the idle problem occurred after replacing the plugs, double check your work. Make sure you installed the coils correctly and that you didn't pinch the coil wiring under the top engine cover. I would also be wary of anything other than the OEM plugs. I've seen too many issues from using aftermarket plugs on these engines.

Cylinder 8 misfire, restricted performance is also coming on

you may have to replace the cowl pack itself that sit on top of the spark plug and sometimes you can get by just changing the boot wish you the best of luck Michigan Man.

I just purchased a 2003 explorer XLT, on the CARFAX I do not see any service etc'.. and the car has101k miles, when should I normally service the car??

3,000 to 5,000 for oil changes, 15,000 for fuel filter, 30,000 for transmission, 60,000 for differentials, 100,000 miles for "tuneups".

Service on a 2003 fx35 with 120k miles

Well if you ask Infiniti, everything. From belts to flushing all the fluids and of course plugs and wires. Estimated at $1,000.00 for the works. I would flush the trans. oil and the anti freeze, as well as spark plugs. Also check the belts to make sure no visible cracks.

Spark plug location

they spark plugs are not visible unless you take off the coils. unfortunately the coils are dangerous to mess with unless you know what you are doing. your best bet is to take it in for a tune up unless you have worked on a volvo before.
