There is no "wire" to use, the factory radio is connected to the canbus (part of the vehicle communications wiring that goes to your computer in the car). You need a converter box that converts it to a signal that your radio can "understand."

Check the dealer and see if your radio automatically adjust to your speed. Some radios were built to raise the volume when driving at higher speeds and when you get in slow traffic or when you stop it would automatically adjust down the volume. You can also go to a Radio Shack and get a spray cleaner for electrical parts and pull the volume knob off of your radio and spray the volume control and turn it rapidly to remove any hidden dirt on that volume control.

I would change the fuel pressure regulator first, if no change in pressure the fuel pump is on the way out.I have a 01 silverado 4.8 and my fuel pressure is between 55and60 psi.

Check all of the feed wires that come off the positive side of the battery. A fuseable link may be bad.

Simple check is to determine if the engine coolant is getting to the rear unit. Two heater hoses run from the firewall, passenger side, under the car to the rear. At the firewall there is a 4 hose connector, heater control valve, that controls the amount of coolant to the rear unit. Sometimes it will plug up, some times the heater hoses will plug up, some times the control valve will not get the command to open with a vacuum hose.

It really sounds like a tranny problem, best addressed by a Transmission shop. It might be an easy fix, or a really expensive one.

You may need to clean inside the throttle body. YouTube has videos on how to do it. Also, your Idle Air Control motor might have carbon build-up in the passage for idle air. Take the motor off, and clean it gently and check the air passage for blockage.

I suspect a faulty ground connection. Add a separate medium gauge wire from chassis to tailgate, routing it through the existing wiring harness location. Ensure bare metal connection at both new ground wire locations.

"Chevy Mechanic: Dave Nova
The problem is going to be a break in the circuit between the *SIR fuse and the yellow wire at the mirror connector. This wire travels through the relay block. You can check connections at the relay block and trace the wiring. You can also just run a new wire, it may be faster."

and

"Check for voltage on the yellow wire at the mirror connector with the key on. If there is voltage on the yellow wire then the problem is inside the circuit board in the mirror and the mirror will need to be replaced."

Dave Nova included the Fuse Block shown below in his post, but I see no "SIR" Fuse? * I just discovered it is a "Supplemental Inflatable Restraint (SIR) Fuse = AIRBAGS. The two photos below are MUCH closer to what you should have!

No, but you can put the 50-80$ sensor in too correct the system considering you just spent 500-600$ to have the pump replaced. Or you can just put non-air rear shocks on the vehicle although the suspension system will generate a warning message on the dash.
