1999 Volvo S80 2.9. How to turn off my brake lights on it.
If you want to turn off your brake lights on a 1999 Volvo S80 2.9, the best approach would be to locate and remove the appropriate fuse from the fuse box.
Here's a step-by-step guide on how to do this:
- Locate the fuse box: The fuse box on a 1999 Volvo S80 2.9 is located in the engine compartment on the driver's side.
- Identify the brake light fuse: Look for the fuse labeled "Brake lights" or "Stop lights." The fuse box cover should have a diagram that shows the location of each fuse.
- Remove the brake light fuse: Use a pair of pliers or a fuse puller tool to carefully pull out the brake light fuse.
- Verify that the brake lights are off: With the fuse removed, check to make sure that the brake lights are no longer illuminated when you press the brake pedal.
It's important to note that turning off your brake lights while driving is ******* and dangerous, as other drivers won't be able to see when you're slowing down or stopping. Therefore, it's recommended that you only turn off your brake lights temporarily for diagnostic or repair purposes and then promptly restore them to normal operation.
Can u get the code off the serial no on the radio
If the Volvo dealer cannot supply your code then your only option now is to remove it from the dashboard and take it into a Decoding Service.(or your local Car Radio / Audio Store )
They will connect it up to a laptop and electronically read / recode the security memory chip (EEPROM)
Hi. thinking of buying this car but the AC does not work.
solder joints is not a problem in this country or all makes of cars would have a solder problem
I would suggest that you have a very serious inspection done on the car before you buy it as one piece of rubbish may be said to hide something more serious
AC systems mostly fail from loss of gas or failed compressors so have the problem properly diagnosed by an ac specialist shop first
I need code radio for my volvo s40 serial no : V03920 3261E065
When you disconnect your battery and then reconnect itagain, it disables the radio. This is an anti-theft protection for your carradio. The enable your radio the activation code is in your vehicle owner's manual. Ifyou do not have this code you need to go to your Volvo servicecentre and get them to enter this code for you.
