My camera goes off after 2 minutes the screen goes blink and doesn't take pictures you have to cut it off then turn it back on if no motion it goes back off don't have instructions anymore what shall i do

Try cleaning the battery contacts and the battery itself with a q tip dampened (not wet) with 91% rubbing alcohol. Then, in the main menu click to set all values back to Factory default.

1. Try cleaning the battery contacts inside the battery compartment.
2. Try removing the media card, then turn on camera. If its ok, then you have a bad media card, try formatting the media card.

No solution for you...but I have the same problem. I also had the green blob problem which sony fixed earlier this year. It happens on an intermittent basis. Screen goes off, standby light blinks green, then comes back on. Its off for maybe 1-2 min.
