SOURCE: i get the error code 2000-0146 only when i run the f12 diagnostic

The 2000-0146 error code indicates a read/write failure of the hard drive. There is at least 1 sector that is failing on the drive. While it is working at the moment, the drive is failing and will over time degrade and eventually fail completely. Backup any important data, then replace the drive.

Hi
It seems that the Hard Disk is disconnected from it's connectors
It needs to be fixed and installed correctly.
To do that, there are screws in the back, remove them and disconnect the hard disk, and reconnect, fix it correctly.
If it's difficult to you, go to technician to do that.

Please, Tell us your results.
Good Luck

Internal hard disk drive not found To resolve this issue, try to reseat the drive. No bootable devices--strike F1 to retry boot, F2 for setup utility Press F5 to run onboard diagnostics.

it looks like your hard drive has crashed but before i confirm you need to try these steps first.1:remove the hard drive if its a SATA make sure the connectors on the drive and laptop are clean, if not clean it. if its an IDE check for any bent or broken pins.2: connect your hard drive to another pc or laptop using an external cable and if it is detected try and retrieve as much information from it as possible and format it with the quick format option deselected.3:if you dont have an external cable to connect it after you have physically cleaned the hard drive, mount it back in the laptop and check to see if it still gives the error. if it does run a windows installation setup from a disk and see if it recognises your hard drive. you can then format it from there and reinstall the operating system on it. 4: if non of the above methods dont work you should consider replacing your hard drive.

My laptop is a dell 6000 and it says there are no bootable devices

your hard drive has failed, on boot (dell splash screen) press f12 to bring up boot menu, choose diagnostics option, run this and it should confirm hard drive failure on dst short test (drive self test) and give an error code (e.g 2000 - 0142), trust me on this i am a dell field service engineer

Won't turn on

No bootable device usually means that your hard drive has failed. It is either not connected properly to the computer or the drive needs to be replaced.

Stop 0x000000f4

The error suggests that there is no bootable device available. Check if you are able to get to BIOS. Check for the hard drive . If hard drive is listed in BIOS, please run the diagnostics on the hard drive. If you get any error messages, then it could be an issue with the hard drive.
