Water dispenser drips sometimes after filling a cup with water. Does not happen every time. If not addressed, the drip continues indefinitely. To stop the drip, I use my index finger to give a good poke the water dispenser arm until the drip stops. Any ideas?

It's not the filter, so it may be the Water Inlet Valve. I assume that the Water Dispense Arm (Actuator) controls the water flow via the Water Inlet Valve. Should I assume the Actuator is fine and just replace the Inlet Valve?

water dispenser drip - 91bdaa16-d6be-46aa-a287-0065152cf5fa.jpg
When water leaks from the dispenser like this it will be caused by a defective water control valve that will not shut properly when off. The leaking water is the same as a leaking faucet. The KSCS25IN uses a=> W10247725-Water Control Valve or HERE
Sea Breeze

I replaced the water valve and it fixed the problem. It was not a difficult replacement. Thanks for everyone's help.

Why does my fill tube for my ice maker continue to drip and freeze up?

Usually a leaking water valve can cause this. This can be caused by low or high water pressure or just a leaking valve. Remove the tube from the valve and if water continues to drip from the valve it is bad or the water pressure is wrong. If it does not drip, leave the water line disconnected from the valve and dispense some water from the dispenser to see if it leaks. If it does the water is bleeding over and the valve is bad. If the valve is not leaking at all insure the fill tube that goes through the box and supplies water to the ice maker is seated properly and sealed off with permagum for instance. Also make sure the freezer section is not too cold ie -15 or -20 as this could cause issues.

Should be the water valve in the back. Over time the seals break down our debre in water will cause to leak. Sometimes new water filters will also cause small issues but shouldn't last long.

Fridgidaire refrigerater dispenses water

The part number you are going to need is 241734302. This is the water valve located in the back of the machine. Whats going on is the solenoid for the dispenser isn't seating properly and when the icemaker calls for water the pressure is enough to push through and come out the door as well

The water dispenser in my refrigerator ice maker is leaking

if you have recently changed your filter, had the water turned off, or disconnected from the ref this is a common problem. you have air in your water line. fill 5-6 large cups of water or until it stops spurting and your drip should go away

Water keeps dripping after it dispenses water thru the door

When you push the button, the CLICK you hear when the water flows is the Water delivery solenoid opening to let water thru, then snapping shut when U R done. The Spring is weak (prob wrong type, size, strength at factory) or the valve seal is cracked, torn, hardened or crushed.

Since all this is inside the door, you will either have to take it apart to see/fix/replace.

Quick fix: turn down the water pressure coming in(?)

Call Mr. Handyman to fix.

If under warranty - they might fix this for you for free
If this is a factory defect, there might be a recall in place for repair/replacement parts

Googlee both - Make/Model + Dripping Valve + Recall
Good Luck!
