Acoustic Research HD510 sub is not working. I have speaker wire running from my receiver to the sub then from the sub speaker wire runs to the speakers, the speaker work great! I have tried running a single rca cable from my sub connection on the receiver to the line in and line out on the sub, I get no sound still. I have checked the fuse and it is good. The sub has power.

yeah, I looked it up on thier website. Here is what they say.

Warning: This product is designed to work with line level outputs or headphone outputs only.

DO NOT connect it directly to speaker outputs as it will permanently damage the transmitter.

You can use these as surround speakers if you like. You just need a line level surround output on the receiver. Most high end receivers have this feature but, you may only have speaker level outputs.

Now crutchfield.com is always a little high on prices but if you look around I have seen them around $10 online.

Try using a different source than your television. If it works, then there's an issue with the output of the TV. However, if you use the same cables as you were using with the TV, they may be bad. Try using another device with a different set of cables to plug into the transmitter, which should help identify where your problem really is. Please rate my answer, thanks.

they are wireless but need to be plugged in for power. or batteries. can be used as mono or left and right. i sell these spkrs and have had no complaints. hope this helps.

using the LFE input will give you cleaner less distorted bass. You must have a sub out on your receiver or pre-amp. it will give you greater control over the bass output of your system. If you only have one sub-out on your receiver simpley run a 10ft rca from the sub-out of reciever to the rca input of either speaker than use the rca out of 1st speaker to the rca input of second speaker. check to see if you have control of the level of your sub-out on your reciever. adjust the 30hz boost on rear of speakers. now you will have bass that most people only dream of having.
