Wireless speaker won't come on after plugging in now....
Try the adaptor that you know works in the speaker that doesn't. That will eliminate if its the adaptor or the speaker. You will need a multimeter to check if its the on /off switch or not. A quick alternative is to "bridge" out the on / off switch wiring. (Use a piece of wire to join the wires going through the switch together.)

I connected an external device
you are using a stereo speaker so definitely you won't get surround sound, Most TV may have either RCA or 3.5mm headphone jack type, both serve the same function, what you need to do is just use a convertor check from this link.

The power supplies / ac adapters for my AW-871
Higher voltage then required is not so recommended, internal circuit may over voltage driven. some power amp max limit may fall within 18V only. See this link If your speaker power less then 30w you can choose 15V 2A will do or else select higher spec.

Help----i have aw825 wireless speaker and a yamaha
You need to connect a stereo out from the amplifier to the transmitter for the speaker. I believe the speaker unit comes with the required adapters which will probably be rca/phono's to stereo mini-jack.

I just purchased a LG LE5500 55
try different ways of sending the audio to the speakers. you can go digital out from the tv into your receiver or go directly from your cable/satellite box into your receiver. I use both...from the tv for netcast and from the box for all others. assuming you are going through a receiver

No sound out one speaker - just buzz when volume
Hi, first of all how long have you owned the speaker set? it sounds like a problem with the speaker itself. Because they are wireless it makes a lot more possibilities of failure. Unless the unit is less then a year old and is under warranty I would probably recommend replacing the unit if all troubleshooting has failed. The latest version of these are about 130$ new. This is a fairly common problem with these and repair isn't available. If you need any further assistance please let me know.
Thank you,
Lee

I have a set of Wireless Acoustic Research
Try using a different source than your television. If it works, then there's an issue with the output of the TV. However, if you use the same cables as you were using with the TV, they may be bad. Try using another device with a different set of cables to plug into the transmitter, which should help identify where your problem really is. Please rate my answer, thanks.

AR Wirells Speak Transmitter Stopped Working
Hi there ,
Let me know if you did the steps below, then we can proceed form there:
Try unplugging the transmitter from power adapter, if it also has batteries remove them. Also unplug transmitter audio cable.
Then remove batteries/unplug adapters from speakers.
Wait few minutes and reconnect the system.
This is a proper hard reset, and can fix minor problems.
If when you re connect the transmitter does not glow, or you do not have sound on one or both channels then there is a fault.
Check the transmitter audio cable, a short in there can cause troubles.
