I have a Siemans front loading washing machine. The machine stopped at spin in it's cycle. It bleeped 3 times. We tried starting the program again. The same thing happened. We drained the machine, took out the clothes, and emptied it of water totally, using the sump hose. We tried to open the filter cap. I am unable to open the filter cap on my. We have tried everything to the point where we now need to replace the cap as there is no longer any handle left on it.

This is because ot door interlock system - the door interlock is a device that is designed to give a time delay before the door of a washing machine can be opened.

If the door doesn't unlock at the end of the cycle at all (even after 10 min) then there could be a problem with the interlock or with the drain pump (water left in the machine). Push the laundry into the drum completely to prevent the laundry from being caught in the door or

4. Add detergent and additives to the dispenser (page 20-21).
5. Select the appropriate cycle and options for the load (page 14-16).

7. The Wash Indicator light will illuminate.

The time may fluctuate to better indicate the time remaining in the cycle.

9. Before your washer starts to fill, it will make a series of clicking noises to check the door lock and do a

It has a reset prog..Put to stop select DOT on dial put on let it flash several times then reselect prog..Good luck

No solution, but I have the same or similar problem - bootom agitaor works, top doesn't. Also softner spots clothes during spin cycle - help - I can't afford a repairman!
