Check you smtp server settings in admin settings. Verify there correct. If your smtp server needs your email address and password to send, that should be populated as well under them smtp authentication settings.

Change your account information from external to internal, i.e. yourmaildomain.com to yourADdomain.local. Change on the scan account as well as the email addresses.

SOURCE: SMB Scanning to a Macintosh

SMB can be a bit tricky on Mac as the aliases etc, & paths can easily overwhelm the MFP. Try FTP as a better alternative. Use "Locations" on Mac to setup a static ip# they can switch to when scanning. I have found the KM machines a bit more fussy than Canon with regards to SMB as you can usually browse better on the Canon devices. I have seen the "Reference" browsing on KM allow you to see into the Mac yet will not allow scanning to the set location. Our KM reps always recommend using the ip# of the device vs Netbios name. To me that sort of defeats the point of using SMB anyway. Scan to PC over SMB seems ok to computer Netbios name as long as DNS is registered & working OK on the LAN & WINS is properly configured as well.

The first thing to try is to restart the Bizhub. Power switch for that is located behind the front panel where the toner cartidges are. Not the switch to the side of the operation panel.

If that doesn't work, you need to check the job history. Press details, there will be a description of the error.

Server Connect Error: The Bizhub cannot find your computer.
Things to check:
Firewall, ports that need to be open are TCP 139, 445, UDP 137, 138
Netbois resolution not working, try using your PC's IP address instead.
If using Host Name to resolve, try Host name in uppercase.

Folder Not Found:
Check to make sure you are using the correct share name. Not necessarily would be sd.

Login error:
Need to use a Username/Password which is an active account which has priveledge for the shared directory. If on a domain, use a domain authentication string for the username ([email protected]) If on a workgroup, \\COMPUTERNAME\Username If your password rotates every 60-90 days, could be that all you need to do is update the Bizhub with that information.

on the control panel screen is section for you to check the status of print/scan items. you will be sent to a screen you select the job and check details, if this was a scan to email might check the mail server if scan to pc check folder to scan to is a shared folder

When trying to scan to email from Konica Minolta C203 we get an error message "From Address not set, unable to Transmit, please specify From Address" any ideas.

THE JOB HAS BEEN DELETED DUE TO INSUFFICIENT MEMORY WHEN I SENT A COPY GIVES ME THIS PROBLEM

I think you are scanning to email. Your scan is probably creating a file larger than your mail server limit. You can use "Compact PDF" mode on your machine to drastically reduce the file size, or you can have your IT person increase the size of the allowed attachments on the mail server.

Hi, I have a Bizhub C203 and the scanner does not seem to work since we lost our network yesterday. Network is now up and running but I don't know how to tell the scan function that!

hmmmm either your scan file was lost or changed to a new location or your email has changed or needs authentication... there are a bunch of different things that can make that happen, can you print to it??

have you set up your scan Email account with you page Scope disk with the copier. is the server set up for scan to email. Also check the konicaminolta web site for scan operator manual. Down load the scan programs

I am receiving an error when scanning, the error has no number and says to check the log. When I go online and check the log all it says is that the scan job failed.

From the panel, check the job log.
select the job that failed and then the "DETAILS" button will become active and present a more detailed report.

Bizhub c203 cannot scan not enough disk space, How do you clear all the logs and cached scans etc.

The Konica technician is going to haveto come out and empty the hard drive on the unit. As a user you can not get to theat menu.
