My fridge clicks off when i plug it in

It's new, only 3 days old. It started making loud noises, but i figured they were normal, and this morning my fridge was off/not humming, so I unplugged in, then plugged it back in. About 5minutes later it clicked and stopped humming. What does this mean? Is my fridge broken?

Our refrigerator does a very loud buzzing for 5 seconds 3 or 4 times a day what is the problem its only 3 months old and very annoying

Normally as loud buzzing from the fridge on that frequency it just the icemaker cycling, the water inlet solenoid valve often makes a buzzing noise depending upon water pressure. Other than the noise, there is nothing to worry about.

Cannot start loud fast clicking noise

Clicking noise would indicate starter solenoid faulty! This would also be the case if battery low but since you have a new battery you can look at the starter solenoid!

I have a kitchenaid Superb refrigerator KSCS25INSS01 and the temps are warmer than normal.

I have a similar problem, I have the same model number, mine is too cold in the the refrigerator but has the same " whirring/click noise" .I have removed the back cover and observed the condenser fan motor cycling on and off in 10 second or so intervals. the compressor is not trying to start so my guess is the control board is bad. I was hoping you have solved your problem before I buy a $250.00 part or a new "Frig" this one is 8 years old.

Fridge makes a fairly loud popping noise at intermittent intervals...otherwise works fine and maintains wine temp as set....makes this noise approx 10-15 times a day....unable to determine any set pattern...

What you are hearing is the new refrigerant going through the system. The old Freon 12 did not make that noise but the new stuff does. Nothing to worry about, it is normal. Thank you for using Fix ya and I hope you found this info helpful.

My 2003 VW turbo beetle makes a loud noise in the a.m.

I think you could
use this manual method instead.. My nephew who is a full time mechanic uses most of the times, and all mechanics look up to manuals. It's very easy he gets it from. www.reliable-store.com

Kitchen Aid refrigerator is making a very loud noise!

when you transported this unit did you lay it down or stand it up? If it was layed down then you should of waited at least 24 hours before plugging it up again to give the oil in the compressor time to settle back down. Actually either way it was transported it still needed the 24 hour rest time. So if you automatically plugged it in after transportation you could have messed up the compressor. Let it set unplugged for 2 days then plug it in and see what happens. If loud noise persists then you know the compressor is shot. Goog Luck.

Compressor is hot and fridge makes a cllicking noise

You need to replace the part that plugs drectly onto compressor. You can use a 3-in-1 or a new sart relay. When tou pull thwe old one it will sound like a box of matches.

Clicking Fridge

I used to have a whirlpool fridge, they are the ones who make kenmore too. It used to make a loud thud noise. It was the compressor turning off. sometimes it was loud enough to wake me up at night. It did this for years and I never had any problems with it. when I purchased a larger fridge I sold it to a friend and its still working today. If you can tolerate the noise I wouldn't worry about it unless it starts giving you trouble.
