True GDM-26 Refrigerator "new stop making humming" Questions

new, only 3 days old. It started making loud noises, but i figured they were normal, and this morning my fridge was off/not humming, so I unplugged in, then plugged it back in. About 5minutes later it

makes a loud humming sound about every 10min for about 5-10 sec. now has also stopped producing cold air. Compressor is bad. Time for a new fridge unless this is under warranty.
