My karcher 4.0/32 Pe Cage cannot take gravity fed water. Can I bypass the float tank assembly? Would there be any reprecussions relating to the line going back to the burner? How can I solve the problem without disconnecting the float tank or raising the water tank to a point beyond the centre of garvity for ther cube van I have it in?

SOURCE: Karcher G3050OH Pressure Washer Spill / Unloader Valve (Bypass)

You should put 'locktite' on the male thread and screw it in all the way and lock it there. That is how it works ,the spring keeps the valve at the bottom closed during high pressure operation. When the gun is released the part with the o-ring is forced down resulting in the valve opening and then the pressure is by-passed.Those dont normally give trouble. Look for a blocked nozzle or a restriction somewhere in your high pressure hose.

Can't get gas in the carb. on a yonghe go cart

Check to see if the carb is gravity fed or has a fuel pump. If it gravity fed then trace the line back to the tank checking for an obstruction. Make sure there is no obstruction in the tank. Flush the tank and lines. If it has a fuel pump, make sure it is working properly. If fuel is at the carb. then you may have to clean the carb and adjust the float.

Motorcycle fule line diagram for a 299cc 2003 defiant

Follow the existing line. If not there, it is gravity fed so the upper end is the tank. Usually it goes like this - tank, petcock, line, filter, line, carburetor, intake valves.

How do I increase the water flow into the tank of a Verona toilet

1.) Check to make sure that the water shut-off valve is all the way open (the water valve a.k.a. the shut-off valve is located behind the toilet near the wall or the floor, depending upon installation placement.) The water supply line attaches to it and feeds up into the refill valve assembly inside the toilet tank.
2.) Check the float assembly or the refill valve assembly, make sure it hasn't bound up by getting caught on another part inside the tank.
3.) Check the water level to make sure that it sits about 1 inch below the overflow tube in the middle of the tank. If the water is lower, adjust the float inside the tank to raise the water level. For models that have a ball float, turn the screw on top of the fill valve clockwise to raise the water level. For models that contain a cylinder float valve attached to the fill valve, squeeze the clip on the side of the float and pull the float up until the water reaches the desired level.

1995 yzf 600 , fuel issue, spits gas out carb1-2, and over fills with gas in carbs, is the yzf pumped or gravity filled with gas?

Carb. engines on bikes are usually gravity fed. Just follow the fuel line from the tank to see where it ids distributed to your carbs.
Sticky float valves and bad diaphragms will cause the carb to flood out. Ethanol gas could be the problem where it's eating away at the rubber parts. I suggest if you're not a bike mechanic, then get it to the shop where your carbs can be rebuilt using ethanol safe components and have them synchronized. Your bike will run better than it ever has.

My ride on mower has started to leak petrol into the engine oil, fuel is gravity fed so I presume that it is seeping via the inlet valv, will an overhaul of the cylinder head complete with changing the...

Hi, no that is not the problem. The fuel is getting in through the inlet valve but it is caused by the needle and float in the carby not holding the gravity fed fuel pressure. It can be caused by a worn needle, incorrect float height or debris under the needle. Basically remove the carby, remove the float and needle, blow it out, check or replace the needle and make sure that when the needle is closed the float is sitting parallel with the carby body(holding the carby upside down with the needle and float assembled is the simplest way to check this). Also fitting an inline fuel tap will prevent this happening in future as the fuel leaks mainly when the mower is parked up. Hope this helps, regards Phil.

My 2006 klx 250 won't fire, no fuel in float bowl, Tank is full, I drained the float bowl to try to get it to start and now no fuel is getting to the bowl

Check the filter screen on the fuel tap for blockage etc. Also check the tap for anything that may have lodged in it and blocking it. Check the fuel pipe too.

The toto toilet keeps running over the overflow tube in the tank. I cleaned the valve which worked for a while but now is back to running. Should I replace the gravity valve?

If you can lift the float arm and it stops the water flow into the tank then the float arm needs to be adjusted. The proper adjustment will stop the water flow when the level is between 3/4" and 1" from the top of the overflow tube. The newer style valves have an adjustment screw that is easily located and can be adjusted without any dis-assembly.

Gravity fed toilet cistern-no water feed.

First I would disconnect the supply line and see if I have water to that point. If so, than take apart or replace the ballcock or float valve. If not continue to trace problem backward untill found. Hope this helps.
