Flush assembly I am having trouble finding a replacement flush assembly for my Jacuzzi Era toilet. I replaced the flapper and thought the problem was fixed but water bills for 3 times my monthly average prove otherwise. I just came from Lowes, where I bought the toilet a few years ago and they cannot seem to locate a part to fit the tank. Why would any company sell such a product, and why would any consumer in his right mind buy one, knowing it could not be easily repaired?

The water in the tank keeps running, I cannot find a flap that fits it. I went to Lowe's and couldn't find any help. If someone knows where to find a flap, please tell me.

I am a contractor and will not be purchasing any more toilets from Lowes because of not being able to buy parts for Jacuzzi. Why sell products that you can not repair?

Follow the link above. You will find a link to a dealer in your area that will have the proper parts for your toilet. Often these toilets have brand spacific parts for them. The poblem with places like Lowes, in regards to their employees is that they are not trained to know the details about repair. Most of these people have never been in the industry in which they are selling products for. Also, most homeowners arent concerned about how they are going to repair this product at the moment, just how it looks at the time of purchase plus most homeowners don't repair their own, they hire it done. Hope this helps.

Jacuzzi toilet does not fill enough water in the bowl

Check to see if there is not a clog in the trap. This could keep your bowl from filling up. Also check the flapper and see if it is staying afloat in the tank long enough during the flush. Either of these could be the cause here.

Jacuzzi sent me new rubber gasket for attaching flapper assembly to tank-(held in place with a large white plastic nut) Does the totally flat side of the rubber washer face the tank or away from the tank?...

The rubber washer goes to the inside of the tank under the flush valve which gets screwed on with the large plastic nut on the bottom side of the tank. Then the foam gasket fits over the plastic nut which goes into the toilet bowl hole for the water to flow into the bowl. Tank needs to be removed from the toilet bowl.

How do you replace the flapper for a 1.6 gallon, two piece Jacuzzi toilet

http://www.ccowhirlpool.com/web-pdfs/Jacuzzi_Whirlpool_Bath/Toiletry.pdf

The top link has diagrams of internal working's of different types of Jacuzzi toilets. Most of them have a tab's on the over flow tube that the flapper will fit on. Shut water off and flush tank to get most of the water out and take a look on how the old one is connected. And replace with a new one. Check out the chain or plastic string which connect's flapper to handle to get proper adjustment for flushing toilet.

Have to replace two new toilets seats, the seats move

Martin, Jacuzzi has a one year warranty on toilet seats so if you have defective seats and they were purchased less than a year it is covered you will have to find a dealer near you, I provided a link for you to accomplish this. How is the seat attached? There should be two plastic screws with a nut on the underside which can be tightened these tend to loosen and nee re-tightening every so often. I hope this has helped. Thanks for using FIXYA, good luck and have a great day. Jeff

I have a jauzzi 1.6 elongated toilet. I bought it in 2008. the flapper broke and I replaced it with a universal one. the only one i could find to fit it. Every time I flush the toilet, the flapper comes...

You're going to have to get the correct flapper for that toilet. Also, make sure that there is not something broken on the side that the flapper keeps coming disconnected from.

I am looking to replace the part inside tank that lifts flapper

Remove the entire chain, and take it to a hardware store, or home center (Home depot or Lowes) and ask for a suitable replacement.
Or you could replace the entire flapper that comes with a chain, at any of the above named stores.
Dont forget to take the flapper with you...
Good luck
