I had to cut the power to my house and then after flipping the breakers back on i went to use my oven and it wont heat. nor will the burners come on. the clock works when i try to heat oven i can set the temp and the preheat and oven light comes on but nothing. when i turn the burners on nothing no light or heat. anybody with suggestions please let me know. thanks
It sounds like you only have one side of the 220v current coming into the range. I suggest checking the outlet feeding the range for proper power. The problem could actually be in your circuit breaker, only sending power via one of the conductors.
This site is a joke! Can't you people read or comprehend what you are reading? I posted everything but the oven worked! Wave touch all lite up gas top works. Had 237 volts at connection on range. I removed power to range and applied power back to range and oven started working again. This is an intermittent problem that occurs sometimes in a couple of weeks or couple of months! Seems like it has to be in the electronic section. Electrolux M#EW30DF65gsh
Croos_lake is right if you have a volt meter test for voltage by removing the stove out of position and unplug the stove with volt meter on volts 220v AC test each leg if one side does not have 110 volts then you have a bad breaker that needs to be replaced.
