Works fine except for squeaking noise. It appears to be from rollers within the unit. any idea on how to fix or is this a product problem?

Probably, but you?re going to have to try to isolate the problem a little better. Typically this would involve removing side panels and such; however, you may just have a faulty consumable like a toner cartridge, fuser or more likely the transfer kit. I typically try to isolate the sounds location then try replacing some of the consumables in that area one by one. In your case if you can?t isolate the location I would start with the transfer kit since that has a greater chance of making noise. Let us know what you find out and please don?t forget to rate the posting when we?re done.

Problem
The Resume light continues to blink after the paper jam is cleared.
OR
The carriage is stuck or making a grinding noise.
Solution
1. Lift the top cover to the printer.
2. Turn the printer off and then on again.
3. Unplug the power cable from the back of the printer when the grinding noise starts.
4. Move the carriage towards the middle of the printer (this procedure may take a couple of tries to get the timing correct).
5. Take out the cartridges and close the top cover. Turn the printer back on!
6. Reconnect the power cord.
7. Open the top cover, reinstall the cartridges, and then close the top cover

Hi,
As you mentioned that the printer makes loud grinding noise or squeaking when page comes out than i feel this is the noise coming out due to faulty fuser.
I want to be sure so please open the rear bin and try to print if still noise comes than i m sure it is fuser.
If there are smudges on the printed page or if some film coating is coming out with printed page than fuser roller are physically damage.
However in this case i assume fuser is faulty.
If there opening the rear bin noise goes off than top output rollers are faulty.
Thanks and Regards
