open door and use flashlight look right at back wall , see those two chrome strips there , thats it!! use glass cleaner on them only , it wont stick inside and stink up your clothes from heating it

Most GE models goes like this.... Remove top cover. Remove front door panel Remove belt. Remove drum cyinder. You will see the heating element.

Try shouting louder at it.

Unplug the unit from the power, or shut off the breaker. Open the unit and check that all wires are firmly connected, no loose ends or broken wires. If all connects seem tight and the wires are in good condition You may need to replace the timer switch. does the drum and motor turn by hand freely. but i think its possibly the bushes in the motor. just have a look at motor and see if theres black carbon dust on it, you will get this on a motor anyway but not in excess

replace the felt that the drum rides on, if you take the front panel off the dryer you will see it on the top of the panel where the drum rides. hope this helps you

Looks like you may have an air flow restriction. First thing to check would be the lint screen. If that is clean, check your outside exhaust hood and make sure that the exhaust flap is not stuck closed, have excessive lint build up on the external screen (If Equipped) or, if birds are trying to build a nest in the exhaust hood opening. I see that quite often. But if that isn't the case, your duct work going between the drier and the exhaust hood is clogged and needs to be cleaned out. Hope this helps.

sounds like the run winding in the motor is shorted out, that means a new motor.

Sounds like it has a bad drum bearing.
