SOURCE: my touch pro phone screen freezes up

This is an issue that I have run into with this device before and is, to my knowledge, unrepairable. Unfortunately if you are outside of your 30 days, they'll sometimes go out as far as 45 days if you put up a stink, the "reconditioned" device is the only option short of paying full price for a new one. Good news is, the reconditioned devices aren't as bad as they sound. I have had HTC phones for a couple years now and the reconditioned models have been more reliable than the original, new models, mostly because they have been looked at more closely by technicians to ensure that they are in working order. When phones come off the proverbial assembly line they don't get quite as much attention. You should not have to pay for a replacement device, especially if you have the Total Equipment Protection plan. Speak with customer care and have them send you that replacement. Don't be afraid to ask for a supervisor if necessary however, most agents you receive should have the tools to get your device replaced for you. Hope this helps!

SOURCE: htc touch phone locked up, can answer and redial

You may have to do a hard reset, remove battery and memory card, replace battery, hold down on/off button & green & red buttons all at the same time. This will fully reset the phone but you will loose all stored data, which is why you remove memory card first.

How do i reset the answering machine on my cordless phones at home

My panasonic handsets have a row of black buttons above the number keys and answer and end call buttons. The screen above these shows little pictographs of what the buttons will do, the left has a book which is the phone numbers stored on the hand set, the middle one has a picture of 2 rows of 3 white dots, this is the button to press once. You then get options of Caller list, Answer system, Handset setup and Base unit set up. Use the big central button with arrows to scroll through the list, please note that the base unit is off screen initially. Select Answer system by pressing the black button below ok. This givs a new list of options, Play new message, play all messages, Record Greating, Answer on, Answer off, PLay greating, Erase message and settings. Slect the required option by pressing black button below the on screen OK. The left hand button will take you back a step, but if you don't press anything after a short time hand set returns to normal. Hope this helps

Youtube on my vizio 470i tv is off centered

CHANGING THE SCREEN ASPECT RATIO: ( From Manual )
The TV can display images in four different modes: Wide, Zoom, Panoramic, and Normal. Each mode displays the picture differently. To change the screen aspect ratio:
1. Press the MENU button on the remote.
2. Use the Arrow buttons to highlight the Wide icon. Press OK.
3. Use the Arrow buttons to highlight your desired screen mode and press OK:
• Normal preserves the content's original aspect ratio. Since the 4:3 aspect ratio is not large enough to fill the TV's screen, black bars are added to the left and right of the display image.
• Wide stretches a 4:3 aspect ratio picture to the edges of the screen. Since the picture is being stretched, the display image may appear distorted. If the program is already formatted for widescreen viewing (1.85:1 or 2.35:1), then black bars will appear on the top and bottom of the display image.
• Zoom expands images with black bars to fit the screen.
• Panoramic expands the display image to fill the screen.
images may appear wider than intended.
If you are watching widescreen (1.85:1 or 2.35:1) content, black bars will still appear on the top and bottom of the display image. This option is only available when the TV is displaying a 480i/480p source.

Screen wont rotate

  1. In iOS 7 or higher, swipe up from the bottom of the screen to reveal Control Center. In iOS 6 or lower, double tap the home button on the front of the iPhone or iPod touch. This will reveal the fast app switcher row of apps at the bottom of the screen
  2. In iOS 7, tap the screen rotation lock icon. If it is white, it's on; black and it's off.
  3. In iOS 6 or earlier, swipe left to right to reveal the Music app, music player controls, and on the far left, an app with a curved arrow in it (if the lock is turned on, you'll see the lock inside the arrow)
  4. To turn screen rotation lock on, tap the curved arrow icon so that the lock appears
  5. To turn screen rotation lock off, tap the icon so that the lock disappears
  6. When you're done in either version of the iOS, single tap the home button and you'll be returned to normal operation of your device.

I Pod Touch showing USB cable and an arrow for iTunes. I tried to Charge it or put it into DFU mode Hold the lock/power button for 15 seconds Then hold the lock/power button and the home button without...

sorry, that is the incorrect way to enter dfu mode. here is the correct way.
Step 1. Plug your ipod into your computer.
Step 2. Power off your ipod.
Step 3. hold the power button down for 3 seconds.
Step 4. while holding the power button, press and hold the home button for 10 seconds.
Step 5. While still holding the home button, release the power button AND CONTINUE HOLDING THE HOME BUTTON for 15 seconds.

your computer should recognize the device as in dfu mode, install the driver needed, and from then on, you should be able to restore.

Sources- i have had an ipod since the very first one, and i have extensive knowledge of jailbreaking and restoring troubles.

Ipod screen went black, and now i cant turn it on

Hold the top button and the bottom button at the same time. My 8G iPod Touch does that all the time. It just means it's completely dead. If you just got it it synced with iTunes, it will say that it needs iTunes again. It should be fine though. Let it charge over night then. That's what I did. Mine was fine the next day.

My DSI opens up but does not responds on the touch screen, left and right button and x / y button. but the camera can take pictures

One time when my dinosoar of a ds was not a dino, I left it plugged in to the wall for a few days. When I went to unplug it and play a game that required the touch screen, it seemed to not know i was touching it. That night I went and bought mario bros. partners in time and played that game (which used buttons and not the screen) until my ds died and I recharged it only for a day and the touch screen worked again.

Another time I went to someones house with 2 little kids and let them play my game. They lost my pen ( and it was a hassel finding a pen small enough to fit in the slot) and started using their fingers. We ate some super buttery popcorn and kept touching the screen with our fingers. The next day the touch screen did not work and my step dad had to use windex 3 times daily for 2 days before it would work.

Make sure you try what I tried a few times. Pretty much any problem you have with the touch screen not responding can be fixed by letting your batteries run out of juice and recharging in a maximum time of 1 day. If this fails you, make sure you are using the bottom screen. You dont know how many people I have met that kept replacing their ds and ended up finding out they were using the wrong screen. Finally, replace the screen, and buttons or just replce the ds or dsi.
