If your disk has been overwritten but not wiped, it may be possible to recover some or most of your files. If your disc was badly fragmented, that will reduce the # of recoverable files. If you had an external drive for it, Time Machine should have backed up your hard drive, and can restore your MBAir; depending on the preferences setting, it may not have kept your games.
If you have an external drive, reconnect it, open Time Machine (double-click the counter-clockwise arrow towards the right end of the menu bar at the top of your desktop). Once Time Machine is running, check your timeline for a restore point.

Barring the above, a "third party application," I like Norton's Utilities, may be able to recover files or parts of them. Most likely you're better off reinstalling the item from its' original source. Good luck to you.

Macbook pro 10.6 os. And hook up to my wifi panasonic 26"tv to steam movies from my macbook

Try and use the bluetooth: Make your T.V. discoverable(I'm sure it's under the network settings or maybe it has a bluetooth settings tab) and pair with it trough your macbook. I would personally just hook up a thunderbolt to HDMI or VGA. You could also get a apple T.V. and connect that way.

Hej. Yesterday, suddenly my Macbook air´s keyboard and the touchpad started not to react. I didn´t do anything, just let my laptop on the tabel for 5 min. and when I came back, it wasn´t...

when your keyboard and touchpad are not working, try to connect an usb mouse and keyboard to the laptop, just to be sure the system is responding.
if the usb devices work, you can be pretty sure there is an hardware problem. if the usb devices don't work too, maybe the system got stuck, and the best thing to do is a system reset
How to Restore MacBook Air to Factory Settings

if the usb devices work, give a try to the apple hardware test to see if it detects anything.

My husband got on my Macbook Air and pressed command + and a bunch of other stuff. Now my page won't stay still. It floats around as I use the mouse. The whole page moves.

What you have done is accidently magnified your screen slightly. To correct this hold down your ctrl key and move your finger on the track pad to the back of the track pad. Failing this restarting your MacBook Air should reset the screen to the default view. Hope this helps.

My ps3 does not load games or movies, screen stays still with the circular load symbol at the the top right corner, anything i can do at home to fix this?

Try this:
  1. Back Up your PS3. You will need a compatible external hard disk drive for this step.
  2. Enter Recovery Mode.

  3. Choose "System Update".

Try to load a game or movie. If it works, skip the rest of the steps listed below; otherwise, continue.

  4. Re-enter Recovery mode, and choose "Restore Default Settings".

Ps3 3.01 update broke my disc drive

I had the same problem: Blue-Ray games/movies, normal dvds would not play after some time I did the 3.01 upgrade. To work around the problem I went into System Settings and did a system restore - quick format and viola everything was fine. Unfortunately I was not able to run the backup utility to save my game data - (kids not too happy about losing countless hours on Little Big Planet). So hopefully this helps someone - Funny thing is after the restore the version of software was still 3.01 (I thought it would do factory reset). So something got hosed somewhere in the settings or just general HD corruption.
