How to hookup Sanyo DVW-6100 to a Sylvania tv

If the Sylvania tv is a CRT (old style tube tv) you can just use an RCA cable and hook it into the composite video. It will be the cable that has a red, white and yellow connectors on it. The yellow is the video, the red is the right audio and the white is the left audio. Connect ones side of this cable to the output of the DVD/TAPE player and to the input on the TV side.

HOOKUP A MAGNAVOX DVD/VCR PLAYER TO TV AND DISHNET WORK CA

may be your tv systems don't have an accessory for audio video input. but you can hookup that by using an RF modulator adapter, this is a converter from audio / video to RF signal and connected directly to your antenna connection. you can purchase that RF modulator adapter to an electronics store.

Can I connect my laptop to my 51swx20b and watch hulu or dvds?

If your laptop has an S-Video output you should be able to connect your TV with the S-Video input (F connector) in the rear. You should be able to watch dvd and hulu if you have a good graphic card. But if you are looking to have something more permanent, I would recommend you a network-ready HD media player, like for example the Western Digital USB 2.0 WD TV Live Network-Ready HD Media Player. I have one of those and I can see HD movies that I download and put on my Usb, or I can see any media (videos, photos, music) that I have on any hard disk in the network. (Because the media player is connected to my router) The media player can work wireless if you install and additional wireless adapter. If your media player is Hulu-ready, you will see it immediately. The WD TV Live only has Youtube integrated. In my house, I converted my laptop in a Media Server with PlayOn and I can stream Hulu, CBC, CNN, etc. to my WD media player (in my case, wireless, but I want to connect them directly) and then to my TV (using a hdmi cable, you can also use a composite cable) It is about $230 in components: Media player ? around $130 Compatible wireless adapter ? 40$ (optional) PlayOn ? 40$ Cables and others ? 20$

How do I hook up dvd player

It should hook up like a regular VCR does. A short cable from the OUT on the back of the dvd player to the cable hookup on the back of the tv.

You can also use audio/video wires (3 wire cable). Somewhat same method...connect 3 wires to audio/video OUT of the dvd player to COMPONENT section on the back of the tv. Should be color coded to match colors on the 3 wires.

Hope this helps some. It is difficult to explain. Good luck!

Dvd hookup to phillips tv without inputs

Have yourself a VCR that has a Scart input, or Video in, and feed the DVD in there. Connect your TV to the VCR, and tune it in to the video channel, using aerial lead and tuner.

When you flick VCR to AV1 (or similar) you should see the DVD appear on the TV Video Channel :)

Nextech N600 DVD player problem

You may have connected one of the component outputs (usually colored red, green, and blue) of your DVD player to the composite input of your TV. Connect yellow to yellow. See section 3.2 for hookup details. Also, if you've hooked up component video, check the three cables to make sure one of them hasn't become disconnected or developed a short and that they are connected in the correct order. If you use an s-video connection, the chroma wire maybe broken -- try a different cable or try the composite connection.
If you live in a PAL country (most countries outside of the U.S., Canada, and Japan) you may be playing an NTSC disc in a PAL player, but your PAL TV can't handle the signal. If your player has a switch or on-screen setting to select the output format for NTSC discs, choosing PAL (60 Hz) should solve the problem. See section 1.19 for more information.

HELP! I can't figure out how to Connect my Sylvania DVD/VCR Combo to my older TV

Even if you do get it connected you cannot copy from vhs to dvd as you have bought a vcr recorder with dvd player, not a dvd recorder. You can only record to the vcr tape from a dvd, in the players controls.
