I have a Capresso C1500 machine. I had to send it in a couple of years ago to unclog the water lines. It's now clogged again. I called them and they walked my through the usual steps to determine if i could get it to work. I was unable to do this. I have since called them back and this time they told me that since the machine parts have been discontinued they couldn't guarantee repairs and the service fee had gone from $150 to $250. Instead, they offered to sell me a rebuilt one for $1,200. Does nayone know how I can fix this thing or where I can send it to?

I finally called Capresso, resigned to send mine in for service (I'm the same poster as above). Instead they walked me through how to clean a sensor on the inside of the machine, told me how to change the grinder settings to less fine, and made me promise to dry my beans from now on. Cleaning the sensor isn't too hard--you have to feel up behind a flap on the underbelly of the machine and wipe it off with dry clean paper towels. I recommend giving them a call--they were very helpful. Good luck!

I know it's not the same make as mine, but when I had that problem, it was the strainer holes that were blocked and the coffee wouldn't filter through, I just took a wire brush to it and cleared the holes no problem and away she went. . Hope that helps

The gears inside are clogged with coffee grounds. The machine will need to be taken apart carefully, and the gears cleaned of the coffee. I just did mine a C3000, and you will have to be careful to remember how all the parts go back together. This takes a T15 hex key for the screws. Good luck.

There are to oval screws on the backpanel. After removing the panel, unscrew the powerboard and check the flowmeter behind it
