The filesystem appears to be corrupted. Try right-clicking the drive's icon, going to Properties, Tools and Check Disk. If that doesn't help the partition that holds the data may be unreadable, and if that happens try asking a data recovery service if the data is important.

My 4GB USB was reduced into 0.97 MB how can i repair and bring it back to 4GB?

This problem could be usb chipset if you can't restore by the following solution. 1. Try Partitioning the usb flashdrive thru disk management.Right click my computer>manage>disk management. See if the disk is recognizable.Try to repartition / Format 2. Use third party program like HP USB disk storage format tool/PTDD Super Fdisk/ repair flashdisk. 3.Partition magic 8.0 is very useful in terms of sizing of drive, try playing this tool. 4. Go to the site of your brand usb drive sometimes they have their own recovery tools or low level formatting software that might help you! Thanks.

I have been using this Transcend FlashDrive 4Gb data stick for more than 2 years. Suddenly my computer refuses to recognize it. I tried in other computers too, but to no avail. How do I go about...

Try to find an IT Technician and ask them to use data recovery software eg. "Ontrack Easy Recovery Professional" to recover the drive.

If this solution fails then it likely that the data stick electronic components have completely failed.

My transcend 4gb pendrive is not dectecting. any one suggest for this solution

Sometimes when a flashmemory stick or USB external hard drive fails because it was not removed fromthe USB port properly. If the device is removed byjust pulling it out of the USB port, it can cause the flash device to fail, youmust click on the Safely Remove Hardware icon on the Task Bar and select thedevice you wish to remove and only do so when instructed to do so When the flash memoryUSB hard drive device appears to malfunction it maybe possible to restoreit by reformatting it. Insert the flash or USB hard drive into the USB port then Click on Control Panel - AdministrativeTools - Computer Management - Disk Management. Then right click on Disk 1removable drive and click Format. After the flash drive has been formatted itwill indicate that it is Healthy. You need to format the flash or external drive. Format thedrive as primary drive and in FAT32. (FAT32 will allow data to be exchangedbetween MACs and PCs also between XP/Vista and earlier versions of Windows). Otherwise format the USB flash drive in NTFS.

Memory card decreased memory

you have either formatted it as 2 disks or the card is developing faults. Check the number of disk volumes in Computer Management. If only 1, throw the card away. (Make sure it is formatted as NTFS, or FAT32 NOT FAT.)
