Hotpoint wf840 first the door won't open,then there is water inside and is displaying F-05

The meaning of F08 is that the heater relay is stuck or cannot be activated for some reason, this has the effect of stopping the water heater from working.
In order to resolve this the only thing you can do is to test the heater, and see if it is o/k.,if it is , then you there is not much else you can do, except call an engineer.

Hello,An F-05 means that the pressure switch is jammed on empty or a problem with pump.
The fault is associated with drain out (pump blocked or restricted in some way).
Small panel at rear of machine reveals the pump, pull of the two pipes (Plastic clips hard to get off, slide them sideways), remove wire and unclip pump from base of machine by lifting locking tab and sliding to the left, pump can then easily be cleaned.

F05 means that the pump is not getting rid of the water.
You to locate and clean the filter, and or check the pump for a blockage or restriction.

This is indicating a problem with the water supply to the washer.
Check inllet hose/s, make sure they are not kinked or restricted , make sure tap/s are fully turned on.
Make sure water presure is o/k.

remove drain hose from pipe at back and drain all the water in to a bucket or bowel this will take 2/3 goes then the door will open.your problem is the filter or pump is blocked check filter first its at botton of machine mbehind a panel it just pulls off

Error F-02 is a slow drain problem. Undo and remove the wide tapering pipe from the bottom of the drum to the pump. Inside you will find a non return ball valve, clean this and your problem should be solved

Try This - It works for the Washer Dryers so it May work on your Washer.

1. Press the Start/Cancel button until all the console Led's Illuminate
2. Press both Start/Cancel and On/Off buttons together until 'd off' appears
3. Default screen should return and you can select a new programme
